These needles are very pleasant to use, they're sharper, smoother, and very fine. Other respondents have said the same. When I stitch large works, I encounter a little drag after 40,000 stitches, and I assume this is the result of the needle surface eroding. The first one I bent I did not bend.
Counted cross stitch on Aida cloth is best carried out with a rounded needle. However, if doing embroidery, these would be best suited.
There is no problem with using two strands of floss in these needles! Three strands are probably a good idea too. As for the needles, they are average. Describe how long. There isn't a big gap between how small and how long. Stitching with size 8 needles is one of my favorite things!

The needles are not sheer, so it's not obvious why sheerness is an issue. There is no need to be pure in quality. As far as needles are concerned, they are not thick either since again, they are not a factor. For hand embroidery, I like these needle sizes the most. I have no problem threading my floss through.

The needles used for hand embroidery are too tiny to work with embroidery floss. There would be no need to thread a needle through an In an ideal world, Amazon would include the length of a needle in addition to just its size, so that we could choose the needles we need for our own purposes more accurately.

This set of needles is fantastic and I have been having a hard time finding it at my local yarn shops, so I was delighted to find that they can be ordered from.

Based on the high praise they received from other people, my expectation was that I would love these needles too. The three I've used thus far have all been excellent. This was a waste of time At the top of the eye, there was a gap. A rough spot on the eye caught on previous stitches with each stitch of the second eye. As far as the third one goes, it seems OK so far, but I won't purchase from this manufacturer.

I don't think you can beat them. The bottles don't break like the ones I've tried from other brands.
