Questions & Answers

The needles are durable, but how long do they last?

These needles are very pleasant to use, they're sharper, smoother, and very fine. Other respondents have said the same. When I stitch large works, I encounter a little drag after 40,000 stitches, and I assume this is the result of the needle surface eroding. The first one I bent I did not bend.

Are these good for cross stitch, or would I need to look for something more dull? Would you mind if I thanked ?

Counted cross stitch on Aida cloth is best carried out with a rounded needle. However, if doing embroidery, these would be best suited.

The length of the needles is how long is this? Is there a limit to how many strands of floss they can Thanks so much! ?

There is no problem with using two strands of floss in these needles! Three strands are probably a good idea too. As for the needles, they are average. Describe how long. There isn't a big gap between how small and how long. Stitching with size 8 needles is one of my favorite things!

These needles are great for embroidery
5/5

The needles are not sheer, so it's not obvious why sheerness is an issue. There is no need to be pure in quality. As far as needles are concerned, they are not thick either since again, they are not a factor. For hand embroidery, I like these needle sizes the most. I have no problem threading my floss through.

It is difficult to use the needles
3/5

The needles used for hand embroidery are too tiny to work with embroidery floss. There would be no need to thread a needle through an In an ideal world, Amazon would include the length of a needle in addition to just its size, so that we could choose the needles we need for our own purposes more accurately.

This is a great product
5/5

This set of needles is fantastic and I have been having a hard time finding it at my local yarn shops, so I was delighted to find that they can be ordered from.

I'm really happy with these needles! It is extremely painful to use these needles since they are so sharp The zippers glide smoothly through the fabrics
5/5

It is the best needles I have ever used to embroider. This is a highly recommended book.

I'm glad I stumbled upon that! The embroidery floss shredded after I used a cheaper brand needle with a larger eye
5/5

With their fine eye, but large and sharp enough to enter threads easily in a quilt knot, these were just the right size and sharpness.

I really like it! Despite the needle appearing to have a large enough eye to use a needle threader, none of the ones I tried worked
5/5

It is great if you don't have to deal with cheaters. I use these needles a lot for my embroidery because the needles are sharp and are easy to use.

The quality of the product is poor
3/5

Based on the high praise they received from other people, my expectation was that I would love these needles too. The three I've used thus far have all been excellent. This was a waste of time At the top of the eye, there was a gap. A rough spot on the eye caught on previous stitches with each stitch of the second eye. As far as the third one goes, it seems OK so far, but I won't purchase from this manufacturer.

I prefer John James needles
5/5

I don't think you can beat them. The bottles don't break like the ones I've tried from other brands.
