Quite a bit has changed in terms of quality since the early 2000s. Even though they are still better than any other beading needle I've tried, the fact that they do break is making me question whether they are worth the higher price they carried, and they are no longer built for longevity now. The time has come so quickly. Below is a photo of me. Watch it bend, and you will see it is about to break It sometimes happens that the cutting edge of the needle is broken, however the eye is currently the worst offender. There are too many weak points in it. Once the eye bends, it cracks and catches on the thread, preventing the thread from working or eventually causing the eye to break entirely. I thought that it was just a bad batch, but it seems it wasn't. I'm not interested. I tried 3 tubes and all of them had the same issue. There is a need to correct that eye. 10 years ago, I did not have this problem. When the eye breaks, can the needles still be used? Even if the shaft of the needle is strong enough to last, but what good are the needles once the eye breaks? These are the best needles for beading you will probably ever find! Everything about them is top-notch! The needles on my fingers kept breaking on me and I became so tired of this. Do you know about those beading needles you get from the craft store that say they come with six or eight pieces in a pack and say they are beading needles? have broken three needles on one small project. Sure, they only cost $2 or $3 for a pack, but when you can't do anything with them but have to rethread them, you are simply wasting money and getting frustrated by having to keep doing it. There is one thing the needles have in common They are sharp Oh my gosh! There is supposed to be a guarantee that they won't I once purchased some beads from a bead store and the store owner told me, "if any break, let me know. ". Specifically, I would like to know what would force someone to break. This store had gone out of business by that time, so finally, after spending more than 6 years with these, I had some time to myself. Right, that's what I meant. There is only one. The thread broke at the eye where you threaded The fault really lies with me. It took me too long to force my way through the layers with a strong fireline thread. There was an eye break in previously beaded beads. Nowadays, the only reason I buy more needles is because I lose them, drop them, or I leave them somewhere else. Unlike many other types of needles, tulip needles are quite durable. They bend with time, but they last much longer than cheaper needles, so the price is worth it. Stringing beads and weaving beads with them are my two favorite uses for them.
