There was no way my pop could have done that Up camper would be a large, but after measuring the window, I guess a medium would be appropriate. It might work better if you use a smaller size.
The tool works well with zippers that are smaller than #8, but not with zippers larger than #10.
It does exactly what it says on the tin - it fixes zipping issues This is a replacement slider for the zipper. As a result, the old slider will be removed and this one will remain. Depending on how hard it is to get the old zipper off, you may have to spring it apart with a screwdriver/pliers or pull the seam at the top of the fixed zipper apart.
A zipper on the tent end had to be opened for me. It would be cheaper to replace the whole zipper than it would be to paint the boot

It has been useful to repair a pair of hunting pants with the FixnZip. FixnZip on the trousers. Everything works as it should! Here's what I love most. Neither I need to take it to a tailor for repair nor should I ask my wife to do The work was done by me!
As a bit of a tip for others, it is a good idea to rub a pencil on the teeth of the zipper after closing it, as the graphite acts as a Additionally, in order to ensure that the zipper pull won't come off at the bottom, I placed a wire staple at the bottom of the zipper, pinched it with pliers as it went through the material, under the zipper, and through the other side This produces a "stopper," so that the pull does not detach from the zipper if it is too far down. On both sides, if needed, you may also do the same method at the top of the zipper.
A 10 zip on the Jeep is a size 8, but the zipper on this is supposed to be an There is a 10 in the table, but it does not fit. I found some videos on Youtube that helped me remove the original zipper from the window and then inserted the new one with a little bit of work I have used it, but the Jeep Wrangler size 10 zipper is much bigger than this one. Its chances of fitting were slim to none. Although I am saving this for perhaps a future use, I feel that the advertising is not.
I wore this jacket after I installed it. The zipper works fine, but in order to keep it from separating, the screw has to be tightened so that it will not slide up and down. Since the instructions do not include instructions for installing the pull, it is up to you to figure it out on your own. Furthermore, the instructions fail to show how to remove the old zipper slider, although there is a video on YouTube you can use to do so. It will require a pair of snips of the right size to connect the nose of the old slider with the new one. As a replacement for the old zipper stop, Fixnzip should have included a new zipper stop in the repair kit so users could take out the old stop, slide the old slider off the zipper, then install the new.
Unfortunately, the teeth of the zipper on one of my favorite coats started to separate. A search on the Internet turned up several The option was to have it replaced professionally, but I'm not willing to spend more than $60 on As a result, I decided to try the wrench method that I found on YouTube to tighten the zipper slide. The next suggested video for fixnzip did not work either, but the next video worked. In my experience, the zipper slider appears to work quite well, and it is doing a great job so far. It was very easy to install. Pop it on the side with the teeth locker after unscrewing/loosening it. It's extremely reassuring that I don't have to replace the entire section of the teeth strip since I tried to separate the teeth and had no luck.
My bag buckled nicely and worked until I put my shoulder on it. It then just fell open again when I put my shoulder on my bag. As long as the zipper teeth were not otherwise damaged and I bought the correct size, I have little reason to think it wouldn't work. As for the ring pull, it makes no sense since it should simply be a tab that can be reached and pulled easily. The zipper is difficult to pull through the ring because of the ring. The product is exceedingly expensive for what it is, and for me to pay that much and not be able to use it.
The slide broke in the dishwasher, but the teeth were perfect. This was a heavy canvas canvas with a #4 slide. The first thing I did was watch My next step was to try Even just getting the product to attach to both sides of the zipper took me over an hour. It took me a lot of work to disassemble the product, because it seems to be made for thin materials The material should not be heavy. After I affixed the FixnZip to the zipper, the teeth of the zipper were no longer kept As I turned the screw tighter with pliers than with my fingers, I had to use pliers. It gets lighter after that. My tension was out of adjustment so I tried everything. If you have the perfect light weight cloth and zipper as shown in the videos, then perhaps this product will work for you. This product did not live up to its promise. I would not recommend it.
I could pull on each size and the zipper would latch, but pop out when I pulled on the pull. In the event that you are in the same boat, simply go up a size. This device does a superb job, however. Neither I nor a professional can sew, so I was unable to buy a full zipper to replace it myself, nor could I afford to pay more than $50 to have it done. I had to watch maybe 5 different YouTube videos to get a handle on how exactly to fix this particular problem because it is on a backpack (open end zipper) and an invisible nylon zipper, so I had to figure out how to use it. These videos were a huge help, as were the instructions that were In case there is anyone else with my exact same problem, I had to squeeze the Pull n Zip with my index finger and thumb, and then pull up about an inch, tighten the wheel, and then pull up the remaining inch. This is exactly how it said it would be! It's been over four years since I've used this backpack, and now I can finally use it again! I really appreciated this product because I love this backpack, but it broke within a few months. This item is highly recommended and I plan on purchasing it next time I need to replace a It may be worth your time to watch videos once this item does not work - keep trying and be patient. The answer will come to you soon! Here is some information that may be helpful to you. I pray God's blessings upon you!.
In my case, I had to install the FixnZip replacement with the zipper running. I used the thumb screw to adjust the right tension on a zipper on an 18" length (almost all the way down this case for the tripod bag) by backing it slowly up, then back and forth while adjusting. It does not want to move when it is too tight. About a quarter turn was backed off, and the flow was fairly smooth. I decided to give this a try since the tripod bag was no longer available. This worked great. The large zipper will fit a closed zipper width of 8 to 10 mm. Five-inch and six-inch sizes are available in the Medium There are five millimeters between each tooth.
