Operation should not be done with one hand

A friend of mine had shoulder surgery and I ordered this to make an opening on the side of a top. Although it would not be highly appropriate to operate with one hand A bit of force must be applied to snap the studs closed because they are relatively stiff. It also means they will hold remarkably well and won't fall apart accidentally.

This is a difficult material to sew with

Unfortunately, these were not the right type of thread for my project. Even with a zipper foot, I was not able to get them sewn into the shoulder of the shirt I was preparing for a shoulder surgery.
