At a marine store, snaps are available, but they usually cost well over $30 for a few. The materials seem to be of a high quality, since they are stainless steel. If you have a hard surface to brace the snaps on, instead of pressing them directly into the walls, this product is pretty straightforward to install. I will be able to follow up later on how they hold up, since I am using them for the first time this season. Several of the snaps, grommets, and screws on the boat needed to be replaced in order for the boat to operate properly. As far as quality and price go, both are excellent.

(Lower case) They are just ok. This is a low-quality snap made from stainless steel and lightweight, so do not drill it into your boat or use it A boat that matches the quality of the one I have will be needed for my Chapparal. My plan is to keep them in case the button in my shirt pops off.

I replaced the ones I was using with these, which are much lighter. These are fine for clothing or crafts, depending on the nature of the project. I sold the ones I ordered and ordered some real ones from a marine canvas website. There is definitely nothing heavy duty about it.

It would have been great if I had been able to use the snap buttons. It would have been more appropriate to use these buttons for my particular project since the snap buttons are of My favourite feature was the customer service. Package arrived as expected. This product is easy to use, worth the price, and well worth the purchase. The only feedback I would offer is that the packaging is a bit thin. There was no other packaging for the plastic container, it was shipped in an Amazon pouch. However, even though all the tabs on the front were taped, when the rear tabs were loosened, everything spilled into the bag as one big mixed mess.

The carpet snaps on my boat needed to be replaced, so I purchased this set. As soon as I lifted up the carpet to clean my boat, I saw four spots on the carpet Four out of the five snaps already in place would break. Despite the fact that under warranty the dealer would replace them, I was apprehensive about taking the boat there. This ate up too much of the time I had, and it took my dealer too long to deal with We solved the problem in this way. My snaps can now be replaced when they fail, so there is no downtime while waiting for the dealer to fix them.

It is impossible for the male side to be detached from the scew. It is my opinion that these are light duty buttons, however they will work for my purposes. Moreover, did not realize that this kit does not contain the male side of the screw without the female side. My mistake was not realizing this until I began using a few and had to change my a webbing strap to wrap around something and button to itself. This kit did not allow me to do that.
