The hook is 3/8" when it's unfastened, and it's the same when it's fastened together. When fastening two pieces of clothing together, such as a neck opening, the vertical piece is placed along the inside of the opening and the other side is adjusted to bring the two pieces of clothing into contact. The dimensions of a size two are larger than those of a size one. On a thin fabric, for example, a size 1 would be appropriate; on a heavier fabric, a size 2 would be appropriate, and so on.
I've put them away for a future project, and I'm not sure where yet, but I'm pretty sure they're sewn on; I only looked at them briefly when they arrived, and I don't recall anything unusual about them.

I'm not a great sewer, but I managed to sew it onto my bra; it was a little larger than the hooks that came with the bra, but it still worked fine; you can see the stitching in the front and back, but that's fine with me because I'm not a pro. These are something I'd strongly advise you to try. For bras, a size 3 may be too large. I had to toss a bra because the hook was ruined by my washer and dryer, but then I came across these and decided to buy them and try them out. If you know someone who is good at sewing, you could give it to them to sew so it doesn't look as bad as mine!.
They were simple to put together using a thread and needle I already had (they even came with a handy little sewing diagram!). )br>br>Overall, I'm very pleased; these hooks have extended the life of my perfectly good bras that had bent or missing hooks, allowing me to avoid purchasing new bras! I saved a lot of money by spending $5 on these instead of replacing my bras!.
I'm talking about the clasps on all of my bras. These clasps have come in handy on numerous occasions. I've been able to revive all of my bras using these, and they're fantastic. As a point of reference, size 2 is the ideal size for a bra or a bra-sized clasp. They arrived on time and in perfect condition. This is an excellent item.
These are extremely tight, making it nearly impossible to get the hook over the eye; it's possible that the white coating makes them slightly thicker, preventing the hook and eye from sliding past each other. They can't be used at all. I ordered the plain silver ones, which are the same size and brand as the gold ones, and they fit perfectly.
There are three types inside, and I used one to repair my broken bra (the hook part fell off in the washer). It's very simple to use, and because it doesn't come into contact with my skin, I didn't mind the metal (I'm allergic to nickel). The metal is extremely durable and does not bend at all (when handled by hand), which is a good thing. If I run out, I'll buy it again. This is an excellent item.
I didn't think it was in the box because it was so small. br>They're most likely big enough for a bra or children's clothes. br>They're too small to hold my chair straps in place.
There's not a whole lot to say- It's a pair of tiny hook-and-eyes. It's the perfect size for dolls' clothing. I'm using them for a side skirt placket because I can't use a zipper. I looked for size 00, which is even smaller, but it appeared that I would have to order them directly from the manufacturers. I didn't want to deal with the hassle, so I went with the size 0, which will suffice. br>Be prepared to sew these on with patience, a magnifying glass, and a bright light.
They are coated metal and black in color, which was ideal for my project, and they were simple to stitch onto my garment at a reasonable price! I would recommend these Dritz sew on hook and eye closures to anyone looking for a hook and eye closure!.
