Snap tape like this is fantastic. Others I've purchased are too close together in terms of snaps. There would have been 17 snaps in the legs of one pair of long pants for a 10-month-old! The snaps on this tape are perfectly positioned for sewing baby clothes.
I live in the country and didn't know when I'd be able to get to Joann's to buy snap tape because I didn't know when I'd be able to get to the big city. I was ecstatic to discover that I could order it from Amazon and have it delivered in two days! This package only came with enough tape to make one pair of overalls. It's not cheap, but it's a lot less work than putting individual snaps in. It's something I'd purchase again.
It comes with one strip of snaps on one side and the opposite strip of snaps on the other. The material is sturdy, and the snaps are secure. I only docked one star because I paid close to $8 for it, which I believe is excessively high for the amount of length you get.
On robes with cotton front openings, larger snaps are recommended. Thank you very much.
This is a good product; I used it to see inside our duvet cover so that I could attach the blanket to it. The cotton threads frayed and loosen as soon as they were cut. I was looking for a low-cost solution. So far, the duvet has proven to be a reliable source of warmth.
I needed this to restore a 1950s girl's vanity table with skirt, which had snap tapes on the little arms that swing out to allow you to put your knees under the vanity table, and these were just as good as the ones made back then. Thank you, Dritz, for adhering to the highest standards of excellence.
I am unable to use this product. There isn't enough room for one pair of baby overalls. For a lower price, I ordered two yards from another source. disappointed a great deal.
It was exactly what I expected. If you're going to use it on clothes, it's a good idea to wash it first because it will shrink slightly.
