By pulling the elastic through with alligator tongs I was able to pull the mask. With a lot of stretching, you can get the cord lock to go back to its original position. My life has been made much easier with this addition.
It should be ok if you push the silicone in all the way before laundering and place them in a garment bag. Silicone is heat resistant up to 400-500 degrees, so I would simply
Elastic with a thickness of 1/8 is best. Rubber with a thickness of 1/4 will not work.
I did not smell any chemicals in the ones I got

I find that they work well. Pull the loop of a small paper clip through the mask loop using the left loop of the paper clip.
This company was very different from the one that sold me my first batch. Having a look at this batch, I was concerned about the size of the holes. It was the original cord locks that I bought of this style that had a large hole on one end and a small hole on the other. It was actually easier to get those locks on the elastic and to adjust them during use than these new locks. The new ones are made of a harder material with larger holes, but they worked just as well on the thinnest elastic I use. In light of the fact that I received the correct number of cord locks and twice as many at a slightly higher price, this seems like a very good deal to me.
My order arrived quickly, just as described, and they were exactly as I expected them to be. One of the things I appreciate is that they are all the same size (others I ordered from another company were chopped up Instead of a hard plastic texture, they have a rubbery texture, making it easier for cords or elastic to pass Also, the face masks can be adjusted using them to stiffen the ear loops. There is a narrow opening on one side of the door, and a narrow opening on the other (as shown in the photograph). In my opinion, this is a very good product and I would.
I just love these little doodles An awesome way to ensure that your mask is adjustable is by using your dad. The paperclip's most bendable end is pulled through a silicone loop, the elastic is placed into the metal loop, and the paperclip is pulled through that. My only regret is that since everyone liked them so much, I had to order many more to retro-fit everything All the masks I've made so far fit.
These little cord stoppers are what I use to make adjustable masks for my Etsy My masks have gotten so much better since I added these clips because they are such an easy, quick way to adjust them. The 1/8 inch elastic allows them to slide up and down very easily, but they are tight enough that they stay in their own place. There was one package I bought that contained a lot of cord stoppers with a too big hole. It was one of many, many packages I have purchased. Normally they are supposed to have a small hole on one side and a large hole on the other, but these had both big holes. These still worked, but they were a little less secure and could slide out of place more easily since the hold was less tight. The one batch I got was out of a bunch, so I probably could have returned it or gotten a replacement if I had tried! Using these didn't pose any further problems and I haven't run into any further problems because of it. There is one point to be noted It turned out I needed the directions for how to thread the elastic through the cord stopper, though I didn't think I did. Before reading the instructions and seeing how easy it really is, I wasted 15 minutes and a lot of frustration.
The mask I made was made using an 8mm elastic cord. It took me a while to get through one, then the other. The bobby pin was used It can be pulled through by pulling a pin. Place it in its rightful While the product is a lot stiffer than I expected, it works just fine.
It has been said by other reviewers, and it is Although the quality control isn't perfect, most of the cord locks worked fine, with one (unusable) poorly formed cord lock. I find them to be a good fit for their purpose. As the elastic I had purchased in July started shrinking (after being washed many times), I decided to replace it with a longer elastic. By adding extra length to the elastic, I am not only able to account for gradual shrinkage of the elastic, but it also allows each individual in the household to modify the elastic to fit their own tastes. This would have been a great idea if I thought of it earlier. In order to pull the elastic through the locks, I use a loop turner (which is a tool that is typically used to pull elastics through casings) I'm able to get the elastics locked in no time. *If I run out of these, I will most likely purchase them again.
First, I tested these on a flat cord they worked just fine. As you would with a towel hung from a clothesline, I made sure the cords were flat and even and hung them on a small bit of thread In the event you don't have a sewing kit, I can imagine you could also use waxed dental floss in place of thread just thread the ends through the big hole first, then through the small hole next, and pull, then the mask cord would easily follow. These are very comfortable and better than "mom's little adjustment knots" comfort-wise. It's also much easier to adjust them. I highly It is unclear if I will need more as I got a black set and a white set and think there's enough in there, but I will gladly purchase more if need be.
