There doesn't seem to be any mechanism that keeps the pins in the groove whatsoever. I kept twisting and turning to try to secure them until I got the button end to the button head (to secure the pin), but there is not such a mechanism. Thus, it is possible for the button pins to pop right off whenever they want, which is both embarrassing and seriously dangerous to have sharp pins just sticking out of your clothing.

This was used as a suspender button

My pressing had become too much for me In my thick pants, I found that my suspender buttons were coming loose. The anchoring pin is longer on these, so I tried them. of a suspender button is the same diameter as the button head of the button. As long as you're aware that the pinheads are thicker on the inside than the studs on the suspender buttons, these work fine.

Nonetheless, it helped me with literally all my pants because I have a small waist, but if I can be picky I would say that if you open it too hard on the little end part it will break off, but I might just be stupid.
