Will this ring accept standard keys?

Cannot be directly matched; must go through the transfer ring. This allows the keys to be easily hung anywhere.

What is the maximum load capacity of this clip?

I'm not sure if they have a weight limit. However, I use them for clutch wallets and purses, and they seem to hold up well to the weight of a fully loaded wallet or purse.

All of the parts were in good working order and were simple to install

These were put to a unique use by me. On a lawn bowls scoreboard, I swapped out lower-quality rings. Thin metal sheets with numbers painted on them make up this item. They are hung by rings from a metal bar. When a player's score rises, the metal sheet is flipped over, and the value on the other side is the next higher. The knuckle on the original metal rings was slightly larger than the holes punched in the sheet metal. The metal sheet could be flipped over, but it had to be wrestled over the knuckle, which deformed it. These new rings lack a knuckle and have a small enough diameter to pass through the holes. They work a lot better now, and the metal sheets aren't deformed as much.

Hardware with a lot of utility

These aren't the most user-friendly, but they do the job I bought them for. In my small pet habitats, I use them to hang hammocks, toys, and other accessories.

Although the product is excellent, the excessive use of plastic packaging is a major drawback

Unfortunately, I had to give this product a one-star rating to highlight the fact that it is packaged in multiple layers of unnecessary plastic:
1. There are TWO O rings in each of several small zip lock bags. . . br>2. Then there'll be a hard plastic box. . . br>3. The O rings themselves are good and exactly as advertised, but manufacturers (and Amazon) MUST become more responsible about the NECESSITY of eliminating excessive plastic packaging. br>.

It is well-made, but it is quite thick

These are well-made and sturdy, and they appear to last a long time. Please be aware that they are thicker than most and thus will not work well for some items such as keys with smaller holes, some lobster claw clasps, and so on. The good news is that they will most likely hold up better for more demanding tasks.

The ring's thickness is TOO great for standard keys

I purchased these with the assumption that they were made for standard keys. My assumptions were incorrect. Neither my car keys nor my house keys have a hole large enough to accommodate the ring's thickness. The spring mechanism works, and they appear to be well-made, but I can't use them to store my keys. This makes me angry.
