The package I got looked exactly like the one in the picture. When I placed my order, I don't recall seeing any color options.
No, you can't bend these with just your hands.
I don't believe 15 will be able to bend the D-line. Ring. These are tied down to a 16' RV canopy. I believe it is more dependent on how the tiedown strap is set up for "in use" use. However, keep in mind that canopy gust loads can be extremely high, exceeding 15 by a factor of five or more. To make the D-, use springs and bungee cords. Give the ring a try.
I'm not sure these will hold up to that. I believe I would contact a trampoline manufacturer and inquire as to which product should be used. You don't want anyone to get hurt, and I believe that attempting to open up the ring even a little would damage it. I'm sure there's a product made specifically for the repair you're referring to.

This D ring was required to replace a ring on the harness of my 19-pound Scottish Terrier. The ring suddenly opened up like a flimsy paper clip around the fifth walk, and if I hadn't been paying attention, I could have lost my little pup if he had detached and run into traffic. I'm going to a hardware store to look for one that is nice and thick. Amazon is demonstrating that it sells a lot of Chinese-made garbage.
These arrived in the mail, and I was overjoyed! I believe you get a lot of bang for your buck with these and can see how they would work well for a variety of projects such as belts, aprons, purses, and so on, but I purchased them to make dog collars for my 70-pound dog. They're the perfect size, but I didn't check the thickness before buying or notice that they weren't welded. I made one collar and took her for a walk to see how it worked. At the end of the driveway, she saw a neighbor (who she adores) and pulled over to say hello, and the D ring was completely invisible. It completely disintegrated with no resistance, and my dog bolted for the next door neighbor. She was lucky that she was caught. As I previously stated, I made a mistake by failing to read the fine print and assuming it could hold my 70-pound dog. As a result, there are no negative feelings toward the seller. I'm just putting this out there in case anyone reading the reviews is wondering if this will work for large dog collars. This particular product, in my opinion, is not the best option for that particular craft.
The throat on these D Rings is wider than on the previous 2" D Rings. In addition, the height x width ratio is too small. I had a hard time spreading the "ring" out enough to feed it through the pre-cut holes. My RV's main sun shade canopy was held in place by a pre-existing loop. Because they are extremely stiff, I believe they would be suitable for new applications such as sewing into a new strap. But, because it's a split D-, it's a little more complicated. It should be a little more malleable in the ring. Aside from that, it's a good deal for new apps.
I ordered these D rings because I thought they were a good deal. My wife nearly killed our dog when the D ring opened up like it was made of aluminum, which caught me off guard. As a result of this, I've lost over 25 dog collars made with these inferior D rings. We are unable to return them because we did not receive one until after the return period had expired. At this point, at least five people have done the same. I've lost not only the money I paid for the D rings, but also all of the paracord; I'm a very unhappy customer!.
We like to teach them to wear collars because they are small. We couldn't find any small enough to buy, so we made our own. The D- The adjustable section is stabilized by rings.
These were purchased by my wife for the purpose of making aprons for the grandchildren. She claims that they are of excellent quality and that they fulfilled her requirements. Her only complaint is that she expected them to be a little bigger, but that isn't a reason to send them back or avoid using them. She appears to be content.
I'm not going to return them; I'm going to force them to comply. Make sure you get the right size. It has an impact.
I liked the price, but these are a little heavier than I had anticipated for the craft project I was working on.
