There should be no problem with their ability Sewing it on will vary according to how you do it
This is a very solid and sturdy product. There is a good deal of strength in the snapback, but it doesn't stretch very far. A half-inch of it is not quite long enough to reach If it's going to be on the outside of clothing then it should be fine. It wouldn't be comfortable against the skin but if it's going to be on the outside, it should work.
The fabric has some stretch, but it is not too much. To improve the comfort of holding my Kindles, I have put it on the underside of all the covers so that I can reach in to handle them more easily (not glued through the middle) and made sure that there is some resistance but it is not loose- There is just enough give but not too much for it to be "stretchy"- item because it is strong but it also has a little give to it, not too much nor too little. It is not too thin nor too thick, but even thin enough- for the purpose for which it was designed for. Good luck! The price is perfect and the product is strong, too!
My wish is to be able to post a picture. By cutting it lengthwise into 3 parts, I got 3 Grabbing the elastic and stretching it had no effect on unraveling. However, I did see pieces coming off if I scratched or picked at the edge. I can post a picture if there is a way to do so.

A waistband is the perfect addition to any garment. like this elastic for making pajamas for gifts because it doesn't roll and twist and it doesn't loosen very much or roll up when worn. I find it more comfortable than other kinds of elastic, but you should consider that This elastic is such a soft, stretchy material that you can probably use a shorter length than with another type of When I don't get the proper fit, I usually have to take off about three inches from my usual elastic measurement. if my normal waistband measurement is 34" with 1" overlapped for a 36" waist, I would cut 32" of this and overlap 1" to start, but I will still have to take 1/2" to 1" off occasionally. You will need to add 1" in order to make sure the fit is perfect.
The band I purchased was used to attach a new wig I bought. It was necessary for me to get the band to fit my head better so that the wig would be a tighter fit. I was able to wear it like this for a little while, but after a short period the band's elasticity began to deteriorate. This was one aspect of the band that I did not like. It might not do anything right now, but I like to think it is still doing something.
My wigs are held in place with this tool. The elastic holds the wig in place, and you don't have to worry if it will come off since there are some who don't want combs. Combs result in the lace lying better than when it is laid by hand.
It's perfect for my job, very reasonably priced. What's that saying about fitted sheets not always staying put? You can feel them slide and then twang off the corner of the mattress as soon as you move. Here you are, bleary-eyed, tired, and perplexed As you frantically try to put the darn sheet back on to get some sleep, you can see your teeth are chattering I am seeing. It is not necessary to purchase sheets that cost hundreds of dollars. This is what I use- Measurements in inches The corners should be stitched with an elastic band of wide Dritz. Stitch the diagonal piece diagonally up the perpendicular sides using about an 8 1/2" piece. I can then secure those pesky corners snugly into place with that fitted sheet because of the elastic. Don't be afraid to give it a go. This method is very effective.
Why is it so hard to get basic items these days? Since I don't have a fabric store where I can buy stitching items in my area, I tried the big box type stores, but they didn't have what I needed. AMAZON obviously would have been my first choice as I could have found exactly the product I needed without the hassle of searching. I bought this elastic to replace some worn waistband elastic that has lost its elasticity. There is no reason why waistband elastic lasts for such a short period and is so difficult It was a time of replacement, but it was well worth it if it is one of your favorite clothes. I have a pile of them with worn out elastic, so when I got this elastic, it was the perfect replacement and will hopefully last for a long time.
A dress I was making called for elastic to work into the waistband. I bought it so I could make that dress' waistband. I had bought this dress on clearance and it didn't fit entirely well. When I got home, I realized the top of the bodice was going to fall off, so I turned it into a skirt with the help of this Dritz Non-Stick tape. You can roll up woven elastic. My favorite feature about this product is that I liked that the ends didn't disintegrate immediately when I cut a length off. In order to hand-sew the entire length of elastic into the skirt's waistband, I used thread that was very strong and did not fade. This fabric is strong and yet it is not so stiff that it creates a rigid band within the fabric that is hard to work with. A little over an inch wide, it's an inexpensive way to gently hold up your clothes with the least amount of effort. The constrictive clothing did the trick for me because I cannot stand it myself. Just enough give makes it comfortable while still providing a good fit when you are actively moving about. You should definitely check it out!.
This elastic was purchased to sew into the backs of some of my pants that have become too loose as I lose weight. I cut it into custom lengths for the purposes of seizing it into the back of the waistband of the pants. As I continue to lose weight but do not yet wish to purchase smaller pants, this is a cost-effective way for me to be able to save money and wear my dress pants while not having to alter them. The elastic is of good quality. The product looks exactly like the picture. Exactly what I was looking for. Be sure to double check the measurements before placing an My black dress pants have waistbands that are 3/4 inch wide and I almost ordered elastic that would have been too wide because there are varying widths available on amazon, but this one worked perfectly.
After comparing elastic at JoAnn's, I found it was significantly cheaper to buy it on Amazon.
