What are the chances that these would be too tight for an adult's Thanks so much! ?

There is no way they would do that. Our children had great fun making reindeer masks using them. They are fairly stretchy, but not enough to stretch for an adult. We used them for reindeer masks and they were perfect. If I were an adult, I would probably choose a larger size.

It worked perfectly for my application as I used it to hold crystal Christmas ornaments to foam core. I returned a few of the strings because they were without barbs, but not enough to have to return the product.

Make sure you order the right size

I bought 6 of them. I was going to use 5" for a children's mask project, but these are much too small to fit around the head of the child. If you are planning to make masks, you should order at least the 13" size.

The quality is quite good, but the size is I did not realize that they were so small, but I believe they are good for what they are

For the children in my classroom, I put it on hats so they could wrap their chins in it. Being so small, they weren't as comfortable as they could have been.
