Because there is no knot at the end of the elastic, I'm sure it could be pulled off if you pull the bead too hard. If you wanted, you could tie a knot at the end of the elastic pieces.
When sewn to the mask, the bead comes attached, making it simple to adjust.
You attach them with a needle and thread. I attach mine with the insides facing out. That way, when I finish sewing the seams and turn the masks right side out, they're ready to use! As a result, for my method, the answer is "Yes." They should be easy to clean. For my volunteer sewing of masks, I've used up three 100-piece orders. My family enjoys how they are feeling and adjusts accordingly.

I ordered these and had to wait a long time for them to clear customs because a lot of us are sewing masks and elastic is scarce. After that, I received no response from ORYOUNGO until I inquired about my order. Today, I received them - What a waste of time. The elastic will almost certainly fit a child's mask. Please contact me if you require my services. They are available to you for no cost. This is the last time I will order from them.
Pro: I bought the products twice because I like them so much, particularly the soft silicone stopper. It went unnoticed for a long time. China is the source of this product.
Con: fluctuation in price I bought two for a total of more than $20. I bought my second batch after seeing the price drop to $9. After that, the cost gradually increased. If you're looking to buy, keep an eye on the price. I had the option of returning them, but I chose to keep them. You can make a lot of money here, but I'm not coming back.
I've ordered these twice now, and both times I've been very pleased. They were ready to use right out of the box, and my customers appreciated the high quality. My second order, on the other hand, was a huge letdown. They were tangled and wrinkled to the point where I had to iron each one individually before using them. In addition, the lengths were oddly inconsistent- nearly haphazard- with a few exceptions. They were 5" inches shorter than the others, and thus useless. The quantities were also off, so I didn't get nearly as much as I had paid for. Because the order was such a letdown, I'll be looking for a different product in the future.
If you're making facemasks in large quantities, these are ideal. My first order arrived a couple of days ago, and I'm already out of white ones. Using 3mm white elastic is much better. I've started wearing them on my masks as well, and finding the right fit without the rubber do dads at the end is difficult. They appear to be adored by everyone.
Elastic behind the ears on masks is said to be uncomfortable by many people. I couldn't wait to try these when I saw them. Because they are short, I increased the mask's width by a couple of inches (8-inches). 9" in diameter). That was an excellent solution. These are extremely plush and cozy. I'm no longer concerned about the masks fitting correctly. Because so many people said they didn't get the advertised amount, I counted mine and discovered that I didn't get the advertised amount of $100. I got an 88 on the scale. I understand that manufacturers are short staffed, but better quality control is required. There were 50 in black and only 38 in white.
This item has been on my wish list for over a month. I'm not convinced that the wait is worthwhile.
These types of elastic can be found all over the internet. Amazon has a lot of them. I must say, I am very pleased with my decision. br>br>The description was slightly misleading. They appear to make them sound shorter than they are (or perhaps I'm misreading it). These are of excellent length, excellent quality, and well worth the money. I'm making a lot of masks, and I'm going to re-use some of them. When I'm in a pinch, I'll order these.
