Please accept our apologies for any misunderstanding this has caused. The word barrel has been added to aid in the creation of search terms. They're in the shape of an M and are circular/round. I believe the first image best depicts this, and I hope this information was useful.
China. They're also ineffective.
The simplest fit is 1/16" round. Although 1/4" elastic could be a little tighter, it appears to work best and not slip based on other comments. Please see my reviews for more information.
Leave them on for as long as they don't slide off easily and won't come off in the washing machine. I was able to wash mine without any problems.

I have nothing but praise for the product's functionality, but what about the sanitation of the factory where it is manufactured? Not in the least. br>br>First and foremost, my bag contained a small amount of hair (see photo). It's revolting. Needless to say, I used alcohol to sanitize all of the pieces. I'm a little concerned about the type of factory that produces these. The product, on the other hand, did not disappoint. br>br> These were the only clear circular ones available, and they're fantastic! They're mostly used on my homemade masks, and they're made of a thin elastic-like material. elastic similar to that found on disposable masks They work well, but I keep them hidden behind a knot to avoid losing them. br>br>These stoppers have been threaded successfully through much thicker elastic-type materials. I have one with elastic that is the same thickness as hair elastic (see photo) and it works perfectly! I didn't need to tie a knot behind the stopper because these are so snug.
Do not be fooled by its diminutive size. My Uniqlo Airism mask's ear loops didn't appear to fit the silicone cord lock at first glance because the holes appeared to be too small, but I decided to give it a shot. br>With the assistance of a "non-governmental organization," slip rubber sheet" and, with the help of the U-shaped template provided, make a U-shaped template. I was able to thread the ear loops through the cord lock with the help of a U-shaped clip. Yay! Silicone is used to make the cord lock, which makes it flexible. br>By the way, my "non-profit" is a 501(c)(3) organization. The "slip rubber sheet" is the cuff of an old dishwashing glove that I was about to throw away. )br>There were so many cord locks to choose from, but I'm glad I went with this one because it gives a more custom fit to all my masks, such as the ones in the photo or the elastic bands on my cotton cloth masks, for not much money or effort.
Every time I buy a cute fabric mask, it turns out to be too big for me. Mostly due to the fact that my face is smaller. So I came across these and discovered that another reviewer claimed they were suitable for larger ear loop masks. I bought them, and they fit perfectly! It was a little difficult to get them on at first, but because these adjusters are soft and stretchy, they eventually fit nicely. They also give you a hair pin tool, which I liked. It made putting the adjusters on so much easier. For thicker fabric masks, I strongly advise purchasing these.
I made a lot of cute face masks for my grandchildren, but they didn't like wearing them because the elastic around their ears was either too tight or slipped out of place. I've swapped out the flat elastic for a soft, round cord elastic that can be used with these toggles for a more comfortable, adjustable fit. The kids are no longer bothered by wearing the masks, which is a huge relief because they will be wearing them all day at school. Despite the lack of instructions, these adjusters are simple to use. Simply sew the cord elastic to each side of the mask (using the "hairpin" shaped tool included with the adjusters, I folded over each side of the mask and stitched it down, leaving it open on the ends to form a casing, through which I threaded the cord elastic). After that, thread both ends of the elastic through the round end of the hairpin TOGETHER. Then, with the hairpin's two ends inserted into the largest hole in the little adjuster, pull it through. It may feel like a tug, but keep going. It works. Use a long enough length of elastic to knot the two ends together, preventing anyone (especially small children) from completely removing the adjuster.
Because the masks I bought have wide ear loops, I decided to look on Amazon to see if I could find ear adjusters that would actually fit. I decided to purchase this product after reading the reviews, and I'm glad I did. It's a cinch to work with! I was done in seconds after looking at the "how to" included in the description pictures, and I'm not even a crafty person. I was blown away by how quickly and easily I was able to resolve my problem thanks to this four-dollar product; highly recommended!.
They are, however, very easy to use and come with a small tool to aid in the process. Before they made my masks fit, I was tying nots in them. It's a lot more relaxing now! I was concerned that it wouldn't work with this elastic, but it does!.
They work well with masks that have thinner straps. If the straps are thick, they are a little more difficult. They've also held up well in the washing machine and dryer. I'd make another purchase.
