Singer bobbins, specifically for the Singer 4423, were required. They should fit, according to the product description. That is not the case. They are ill-fitting, and the bobbin thread cannot be picked up because they don't turn properly. They were packaged in a clear bag. There's nothing on them that would indicate they're Singer bobbins. br>br>I am extremely dissatisfied.
This makes threading them a little more difficult, but not by much. They work perfectly in the machine and are significantly less expensive than brand-name bobbins. I would strongly suggest it.
These were a perfect match for my Singer 4411, which is a heavy-duty machine. Others I'd bought before were slightly rounded on the top and bottom and didn't work as well. These are completely flat and function perfectly.
These were supposed to fit the Singer 4423, according to the advertisement. That is not the case. They will fit inside the bobbin case, but when trying to fill the bobbin, they will not spin correctly to wind the thread. So, I knew I was taking a chance with a generic attachment, but there were no Singer bobbins in stock anywhere. The bottom line is that you should keep looking for the manufacturer's products. This is a complete squander of funds.
I was disappointed that they don't actually bob when they're called "bobbins," but they work well in my sewing machine for holding and dispensing thread.
All of the holes for threading the bobbin are large and easy to thread. I've had bobbins from other vendors that required reaming out of the holes before use. These are perfect in their current state. I'm going to place another order.
Bobbins in the manner described The bobbins in my Singer Heavy Duty 4452 are identical to the ones that came with it. These fit the bill for my sewing machine bobbin needs, especially since they are always sold out on the Singer website.
My sewing machine now allows me to quickly change threads and bobbins. Yay.
