I don't own a Designer SE, but I do have one of the later models. The bobbins are size L, but they won't fit in my Viking machine because the bobbin case isn't made of metal. They're something I've been using with my brother. The case is made of metal, and the magnet on the underside of the bobbin helps to keep it in place.
At this price, I've ordered two or three boxes of black and white bobbins, and I've always gotten 100 bobbins. I'd look for the following: 'Magna- White Glide Prewound"L" Bobbins - Glide Prewound"L" Bobbins - Glide Prewound" Count to 100 and place an order for that item. If you own a metal bobbin case, they're fantastic!
I'm not sure! They were purchased for the Babylock Endurance. They were made specifically for that machine, so I'm guessing you'd want the one that works with yours!

As with other similar listings, this item makes it appear as if you are receiving a full box of 100 bobbins. Even though it says 100 bobbins in the question section, I received a ziplock baggie with 20 bobbins today. I'm returning it, and I'm very dissatisfied with it.
My magna glide bobbins are fantastic. I first learned about them at a trade show, where I received half of a box. I don't have as many bobbin errors with these as I do with the others because they hold a lot of thread. Unlike non-magnetic bobbins, they do not bounce around in the case. I strongly advise you to purchase them.
I had a technician work on my computer and he suggested that I use these. Despite the fact that they were more expensive for fewer bobbins, I decided to give them a try. This is the first time I've tried them, and I'm not overly fond of them. The hoop fell off and damaged the item I was embroidering due to a birds nest of thread. It was the second time something similar had occurred to me. I was able to save the item the first time, but not this time. I believe the bobbins are to blame, and I don't have much faith in them. After I finish these, I'll go back to the cheaper ones.
I used it on a Melco Bravo with 16 needles. Everything is in order. I'm at a loss for what to do. Consistently good. I admire the company's long-term viability as well. The used magnetic bobbin cores are returned in a resealable box with a shipping label. Right on.
I like that they have a magnetic core to keep them in place in the machine; I usually get these from a wholesale embroidery supplier, but they were cheaper here with Prime free shipping, so I'll be ordering them from Amazon from now on.
I bought these Fil-Ams from a local store. Over the last few years, I've used Tec Magna Glide White Bobbins L style bobbins a couple of times. These are the best and last a long time, and I use them on a Brother PR1000e multineedle embroidery machine.
There will be no more string! Definitely a must-have!.
