I purchased these bobbins for my Brother CS6000i sewing machine, and they work perfectly for loading them as well as using them. As a result, I prefer to have multiple bobbins so I can keep a few around loaded with the thread colors I use most often, which also saves you thread when making changes between colors. These bobbins I have used for my sewing machine have never caused any problems so far.
This is the type of bobbin recommended for my new Brother XR1355 sewing machine, and it has worked perfectly. Interestingly, Brother also sells the same type of bobbins with clip closures to keep loose thread ends contained on them, but those clips aren't available separately - that is In some articles on the Internet, however, I came across a suggestion that you can cut rings thin enough to fit between the sides of the bobbin from clear plastic tubing with an inside diameter of 12". By cutting an edge off of one side of the ring, you can now wrap a curved piece of plastic around the thread on the bobbin - it You can get this for less than two dollars! 1) I want my nametag to be "cheap" to compensate for the premium price. This is a genuine Brother SA156 bobbin, and you pay a premium for that "genuine" adjective. I have bought cheaper bobbins that claim to be the same but I have not had very good luck using them. We're not on. The tension for some of them has been poor or the stitches have skipped, but others appear to be Ok. There's no way of knowing what will happen. Even though I am tight with a buck, I don't see the point in buying something less expensive if it doesn't work. The following are some differences I noticed between them and some of the substitutes. 2. *br. The knock-offs tend to look and feel lower quality than the originals We're not on. It has a slight bluish tint to it, but besides that, it is clear and generally flawless - the mold marks aren't visible to the untrained eye. Colorless, thinner, and often with visible flaws, substitutes are typically colorless and have a feeling of inferiority. 1. 2. On the genuine article, if you look at it from the side, there is a number on the center cylinder or hub - this could identify the date or where it was made, but there is no obvious reason for it. A knock on the door On the ones I bought, I did not see any numbers on the hub despite the fact that some are likely to have numbers elsewhere. The third item From the top and bottom of the opening in the bobbin, look down in the center. There is a notch on one side of the opening. There is a vertical line connecting the notches through the bobbin, so they line up. A knock on the door There is a notch on either side of the center hole on the offs. With bobbins bought from the store, they would both be on the same side of the opening if you looked down from the top at the left hand bobbin, and if you felt underneath the other would be on the right hand bobbin. 4
When looking at the bobbins, they have four holes - two on top and two on the bottom - through which the thread is inserted the first time it is wound on one. According to a closer examination of the real bobbins, there is only one hole on each side, and A second mark on the bobbin looks a lot like a hole, but it does not penetrate the side. In proximity to the holes, as well as notch, there are nothing in between. A knock on the door Many offs actually have two holes - one smaller than the other - on either side. While the size of the larger holes is close to the size in the natural bobbin, similar to the notches on the knockoff, they are smaller They have the same diagonal location on each side. Somebody in China must have decided that putting them on the same side was enough - function had no significance. Despite the fact that plastic bobbins cost so little to make, that's the only guarantee that they'll perform correctly.
I hate paying a premium price for something as inexpensive to produce as plastic bobbins. My attention has been drawn to a new website called SewingPartsOnline dot Com, which guarantees the performance of their generic equivalents to genuine parts. The SA156-series looks interesting, so I'm going to try ordering them As soon as I get the equivalent bobbins, I will come back to this page and update the review.
I use them in both my PE770 embroidery machine and in my normal brother sewing machine. These are class 15 bobbins and work well in both My favorite part about the package is that it has 10 bobbins I have 2 wound with embroidery thread and one with my main sewing machine's various colors. I always feel that it's best to use OEM bobbins (original equipment manufacturer), as they provide better performance. It is a smooth and beautiful wind. It is easy to see when you are close to running out of thread with these clear gauges. The simple loading of my home economics used to always strike me as odd. It was told to me by my teacher. Easy to load both thread and into the machine to sew. My research has not turned up any. I am pleased with what I have received overall. I highly recommend this bobbin because it gives me a smooth sewing experience every time.
Don't ignore the instruction that says to only use one type of thread in your sewing machine manual. In the beginning, I bought some that I thought looked exactly like the ones that came with my machine (Brother LS590), but right from the start, I had tension problems. So I ordered this set and the tension issues stopped right away. Thus, THERE IS A REASON TO PAY ATTENTION. Even if they're plastic and look the same size as your bobbins, they may not be compatible with your machine. It's not clear to me exactly why this is the case, but I do know that it makes a difference. It makes no sense not to keep extras on hand, and this 10 pack is reasonably priced. If you need more information, you can probably find the information on the label at your nearby pharmacy. This is your online version of the manual Those units are on Brother's Web site. This model, the SA156, will work with a wide range of Brother machines, as you will notice if you look it up on their website <a href="">.
Correct size and good quality. So far so good. 7/8/20 haven't tested them yet, but they're exactly the same as what I received. Thanks a lot! *Update 7/23/20
I've used them a bunch for different masks and haven't had any issues with them and I have them mixed in with the ones that came in the box, I can't even tell the difference. This is a great product. The brand name is something I will definitely stick to when it comes to buying.
It is a Brother Project runway model CE1100PRW that a friend gifted to me after she realized sewing wasn't her thing. Unfortunately she lost all the bobbins, so I went to the sewing store and they gave me the wrong bobbins (not the ones she had). The ones I used for quite awhile did get the job done, but they shook constantly and knotted the thread. It was only when I decided to buy some more and realized I was using the wrong kind of sewing machine that I realized I was using the wrong kind! These are also found in ships. These products seem to be very high quality and work very A beautiful, well-wound thread, and it works perfectly in my sewing machine. It's like I purchased a brand new machine! I am very glad that I chose to buy.
