They're probably not big enough for that. They're about an inch and a half long.
Yes, but the thread-holding slot is too large to accommodate thread. I'm not going to buy any more of these.
Yes, these would work to organize friendship bracelet string because I use the same type of string for embroidery and cross stitching.

They're made of a tough plastic that's actually quite durable. If you tuck the ends under the previous loops at the end of wrapping, the slits will hold them in place nicely. Most sewing boxes will fit perfectly in this size. Quite a bit. I had about 20 cards left over, so I included a photo for you to see if you're unsure how many you'll need. The quantity was just right for me, and I was able to easily organize my color choices. I wrapped it up in about two or three movies. It was actually a lot of fun and went by much quicker than I expected. This product was a very useful purchase, and I will most likely purchase more in the future. Now my colors are all organized and will not tangle when I work on a project. Good luck with your projects!.
These are fantastic. To make washi tape more portable, I use these. I put a ring on my pencil case, and each month in my journal, I use a different color to represent the theme I'm working on. I'm thinking of getting three. Every month, you will be exposed to five new colors. I can bobbin some washi and have it ready whenever I need it. These will allow me to share my washi with others. They are my favorite.
These are acceptable. Because the slits in the top for hooking your thread are too thick, even six strands of embroidery floss will slide out rather than stay in place. Even when they're just sitting in a case, they've already started to unravel every time I pick one up.
The bobbins are a little scuffed up. About a quarter of them have manufacturing plastic nubs. You can remove them with a scraper, as I did. They can be used with some effort, but they aren't completely smooth. Returning them would be inconvenient for me, so I will keep them. Aside from that, they were prompt.
The design is shabby and unappealing. I had to use pliers to remove the excess plastic tags on almost every single one; you can't leave them because they'll damage the thread or make winding impossible. br>br>Tiny, no real room to label your thread, which is a MUST, and winding them takes an eternity due to their small size. br>br>You get what you pay for, I'll use these up but I plan on replacing them in the future, and I don't recommend these.
If you plan to hand wind, this product is fine. To keep track of my threads, I purchased the DMC floss winder along with these. However, the holes on these do not match up with the holes on the DMC floss winder, so they will not work. I won't be purchasing anything else in the future. The next time I go shopping, I'll only buy DMC items.
Our 11-year-old daughter put money aside to purchase these. She uses them to keep track of her bracelet thread and adores them.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Along with what I already had, this is probably all I'll ever need. Vamee surprised me with DMC number stickers.
