Dear friend, Thank you very much for asking me a When I read an answer stating that was size 50, I was confused. Perhaps there is a misunderstanding when people understand the yarn size. I made a video about the yarn size, please kindly view It may be possible to tat other items with them, as some European customers use them for tatting earrings, necklesses, etc. Thus, they are mostly manufactured for shuttle tatting. The majority of them are 210 Denier fabric, 3 plies, but there are some thicker varieties as well. Please let me know if you are able to find any value in this.
Since I don't crochet, I can't tell you what the yarn is like, however I can tell you that it isn't smooth. The process of closing tatted rings can be a challenge.

The thread is very fine and very good to tat. The product is smooth and solid, and the final result is As this thread will not be suitable for beginners, it is very fine, compared with a size 70 or 80 needle.
It shouldn't matter if you take Threads tatted with this thread are beautiful. In spite of taking out mistakes, it doesn't break, as some other threads of this type do. There are a few more beads that will fit on it than on #40 thread.
A ring formed from thread is made of one of them, and it is good and strong. One isn't strong and smooth, while the other isn't either. It's difficult to tat with it because it breaks all the time. In addition, it appears that the remaining 4 are not that strong or smooth either. In a short time, I'll update this page with color remaining.
My initial expectation was metallic thread would be more difficult to work with, but this thread tatted up well. It takes a little more time to get even stitches, but the results are very pleasing. I have yet to work with split rings, as I have only worked with rings and chains, and mock picots. Those using the program for the first time will appreciate the color variety.
See the photos below for proof that it worked out way better than what I was expecting! The pieces are made all the more dramatic thanks to this!.
With this shuttle you can shuttle tat with a smooth motion, as it does not hang up.
Having received this thread in a timely manner, I am glad to have it. It is a beautiful color combination. However, I have not yet had the opportunity to get my hands on it.
This is not a good fabric I found it extremely challenging to work with.
