It wasn't complex, just more basic than that. Learning is for those who are just getting started. However, it is a good book. The basics are all you need to know, and then anything else will be easy

Despite the flaws in this book, I love it. There is only a limited amount of knowledge I have regarding As far as I was concerned, my journey was only beginning. are a novice or you have a small amount of knowledge. Excellent photos and clear directions make this a very easy to follow guide.

The book is a follow up to the Learn Needle Tatting book that is VERY well written. This is what I suggest you read if you hope to learn. The directions that Ms Foster writes are exceptionally clear, and she provides a clear format for everything. It is a must to have these books in your library as a beginner.
