Bobbins are not used by the Moonlit Shuttles. This is done by winding the thread around the Tatting with the Moonlit is one of my favorite pastimes. ...and I have A LOT of varieties! I fill two bobbins if I am tatting in two colors. The colors are the same for each one. You can certainly own more than one Moonlit shuttle since they are such an affordable product! I hope you find this helpful.
The bobbin does not come with the machine. Alternatively, you could purchase a bobbin shuttle with the bobbin pictured. If you want a thread wrapper, just wrap the thread on the inside.

I was extremely excited to get it, but when it arrived, it This makes it extremely hard to tat. I cannot get it out of Is this just a defective one that I received? No, all shuttles are not like this.
The results were satisfactory to me.
This is because light weights are used. It's awesome to be able to do picot joins with the little hook! There is no way you can go wrong when you purchase The price is very reasonable as well!.
The shuttles are good, but I found that I prefer the Clover shuttles. Sadly, these tiny hooks get stuck on stuff and don't work as well as I originally Still, the shuttle is a nice, usable size, and I love how the color fits in.
Delivery in a timely manner. Since I am fairly new to shuttle tatting, I had no idea what to expect. In spite of this, I am a little disappointed.
You should start with tatting if you've never done it before. Having tatted for decades, I know how to do it quickly and efficiently. I'm not a fan of the hook on this shuttle, which is the first I have ever owned. Tatting might interest you if you are new to it, but if you have always used the kind that has just a point, do not.
