Handy Hands Book, Silver

It was my first "project" to create the bookmark. The last time I needle tatted was about 10 years ago. crochet a little bit, but I'm nowhere near as proficient as I could be. My daughter is 8 now I learned how to do that from a book when I was pregnant with her (she's now 8) and I figured if I could learn that from a book, I could likely learn how to do this. Throughout the book, the instructions are very clear and the pictures are incredibly useful. As you go through the book you learn the basics and then gradually introduce the instructions for the abbreviated patterns. To my eyes, nothing could have been better than the way things were put together. It would have been better if Barbara Foster herself had been sitting next to me and explaining the process to me. Honestly, I couldn't be more delighted with my little bookmark, it turned out exactly as I pictured it, I couldn't have been happier.

In the case that you wish to take needle tatting seriously and need the needles as well, then it's an excellent starter Concerning the instruction booklet, it has a number of important points. Clear photos and easy to follow instructions make it a great resource. It's an excellent instructional component, but it lacks the inspiration that I have been looking for. It is extremely unappealing and plain ugly to consider any of these projects. There are reprints of old tatting pattern books published by Dover and others, that have been released for free, or are out of copyright and are available for free. In a funny twist of fate, this needle tatting book inspired me to try shuttle tatting once again in the spring, using more inspiring materials. The result was positive! Therefore, that's what I have to say.

Learning Tatting is a lot easier with this program. As I was browsing you tube videos on tatting, I saw how to use a tatting needle, which made tatting a lot easier for me. Previously, I had been using a shuttle and found it difficult to use a shuttle. Compared to a shuttle, this appeared to be far easier to use. My town has one available, so I went on the search for it. My search for them soon led to a discovery that they were nowhere In our local fabric and craft store, I looked for fabrics and crafts. There is nothing. My friend told me that the only way to get one was through the internet. So I went to Amazon and Bingo! I was able to purchase it. Those handy hands were great because for one low price, I was able to get not just the instruction booklet, which has easy to follow instructions, but I was also able to obtain four needles of Considering that it cost $17, I think I got a great deal. I appreciate the two day shipping offered by Amazon because this is the best book for learning Tatting. It was awesome to receive it the following day, even though I paid a few extra dollars for two-day shipping.

It wasn't long ago that I ordered a packet of tutling I followed the instructions in this book, but I was having trouble understanding something, which caused me to be unable to pull it off. that came with even more needles—I can't even imagine how many needles were there. It's amazing how many needles I have now. With the step by step instructions and colored pictures, I could see all of the steps and how the stitches were meant to look when they were completed.
