Having just taken up tatting, I have very limited skills. You will need needles for this, right?

The process of tatting is divided into two methods. Is it possible to use these bobbins with standard sewing machines? Is there a dimension to the bobbin included?

I don't really think so. These are "thinner" bobbins, and most regular sewing machine bobbins would be too tight or large for them. Moreover, it should be noted that the top & the bottom The bottom of the bobbins are made from a material that snaps over the bumps in the shuttle, and there are notches to keep it from spinning too

A shuttle of this type is my favorite

Originally I learned to tat with Clover post-style shuttles, which work well, but are extremely difficult to unwind and wind. Afterward, I discovered that Clover was making one of the best bobbin shuttles. I like how easy it is to wind and unwind, how quiet it is (not the constant "click, click" of a post shuttle), and how it fits in my hand. I have only had one issue with them after a lot of use a few started slipping, making it harder to stitch nice and tight.

Shuttle service is the best

The best ever! I love how smooth this is! You don't need to click! An extra bobbin has been added! This windmill is very easy to wind. I love this shuttle for all the reasons you mentioned.
