It is well worth the price, and there need to be more sizes available! The price is much lower than others for such a great tool. It works great, but I wish there was a way to adjust the punch depth. In the end, I constructed a perfect solution!
* It is easy to thread, easy to use, and does exactly what it should. With this punch tool, I am sure I will be able to punch more than just holes. It's a must for me to have a second one!.
There was a lot of fun playing with it, and it's very similar to our embroidery project. There is no doubt that it is well made and is sturdy. However, even though I am not finished with my rug yet, it looks great.
There is no doubt in my mind that these are wonderful. In addition to the 10% and 15%, I ordered the #10 & 15% I like these little gloves because they don't require a threader, and for a beginner they are great for starting out without spending a lot of money. They fit better in my hand, and they do not hurt. Packaging was good. Transaction was fast and I was satisfied. The easy way. My only wish would be to have the needle's size imprinted on it, however, I marked it on with a marker instead.
They arrived really fast as well.
Although not as good as an Oxford Punch Needle, this punch needle is quite serviceable for the price. However, don't use it as a metric for measuring this type of punch tool. Compared to the Princeton punch, the Oxford punch is heavier, stronger, and the shaft is more In my opinion, if you are just starting to use punch needles, and do not want to invest too much in tools until you know if you will like it or not, this is a good tool.
Having returned this item, I will not be using it. My opinion is that it worked ok, but Amy Oxford costs less and works better. There was a punch in the monks cloth that got stuck.
A few days ago, I had almost given up on needle punch order because I had ordered other and cheaper tools online. You may have achieved that feat because of the tip and the way it fits in your hand! Due to this, I have ordered another.
It can sometimes be tricky to keep the tread in the handle because of the gap there is. Keeping it from slipping is possible by taping something along it. For this, I use a yarn that is 5 weighted.
