I was excited to receive this kit, but I didn't realize it was the wrong cloth to complete a needle punch project

Do not buy this and expect to finish a needle punch project. We received the complete package and the needle punch is easy to work with, but the handle is a little small. However, the threader works great and the yarns seem good quality. There is a problem with the cloth provided that does not have the appropriate tension for holding the loops and with the needle provided, large holes result. Monks cloths are not made from this type of material. A very disappointing experience. I am hoping to have the pattern finished by cross-stitching or embroidery, maybe. This project is NOT suitable for a punch needle. I will be unable to complete it as a gift or give it to someone It is especially true when it comes to project cloth that you get what you pay for. Could return the hoop, yarn, and needle punch, but the rest are reasonable and can reuse.

I am very pleased with this All the supplies they needed were with them. As this was my first punch needle project, I did watch a few YouTube videos to get started, and I would recommend others do the same. In terms of the punch needle itself, it's nice and smooth. In the summer of 2016, I had tried a different kit and the plastic needle it came with broke the moment I opened it, so I returned it. As a result, there was plenty of yarn (plus a little more) for this project. The display base is actually quite attractive and the snippers, punch needles, and threaders can be used again for future projects, making this an exceptional.

Using a thinner yarn will make it look better than a thicker one

Although the sample picture can be used by beginners, the person who did it obviously is not. Replace the yarn with 6 strands of DMC embroidery floss, as well as a finer needle than the one that comes with the kit, if you want the same quality as a beginner. While the needle works well with this type of yarn, you should use this type of yarn for larger pieces. The amount of yarn included is actually more than enough, half of it would have been fine for this perhaps the designers had originally intended for a larger area (12" hoop), so they initially intended for half of the yarn, but with that increased size, even this kind of yarn works Conversely, if this is your first project, you may want to take it on.
