Very let down. This was purchased as a present for my 11-year-old daughter. There are only a few instructions on a single page, and none of them show how to use anything. It shows how to thread the needle, but only very hazily, and it doesn't show how to put the cloth in the ring or which cloth to use (there are two, and no indication of what each is for!). There are two types of yarn, but I'm not sure which one to use. There are no patterns in this book. This is a HORRIBLE set!.
" I'm unable to use the product in the "kit" form that it is advertised. The needles are too big for the fabric, and they rip holes in both of them. They also won't work with the embroidery thread or yarn. The yarn is frail and easily breaks. The two smaller needle handles don't keep hold of the needle, causing it to pull out every time you pull it up. You can simply use them as is, as they are quite small. The embroidery thread is of a reasonable quality. The fabric in the kit is ripped by the upholstery/cross stitch needles. The hoop, too, is warped and useless. As a result, there is no crafting involved with the kit. Such a letdown. , However, I have opened everything and attempted to make it work numerous times. That is not the case.
The needle heads are wobbly and insecure because they don't fit well onto the handle. Because the instructions only show you how to thread a needle and not how to stitch, this isn't a good choice for beginners. The materials, on the other hand, are clearly geared toward beginners. It is also not suitable for an experienced user.
I bought this because I was looking for a needle punch and the reviews seemed to be positive. WELL, it arrived today, and the needle punches are extremely cheap and ineffective. I tried a few with various yarn weights and they were all awful. I now realize that the reviews for this item are for a completely different product, which is why I was misled. Aside from the needle punches being awful. The yarn is of poor quality, as are the rest of the accessories.
Keep an eye on things. The cross stitch material is filthy, and I've only just opened the package. The hoops are filthy. The hoop is covered in dirt. Even when there are no rounds left. Some of the yarn has become soiled as a result of this. I'm not impressed in general. Because I just opened the package, I haven't had a chance to thread any needles yet.
This is something I would never buy again! There is glue on the tops of each of the needles, as if this product was thrown together quickly. br>And the needles are all the same size, with none being larger than the others. Only for show, there is measurement writing on the handles. I'm not sure how long this product will last on the clients for whom I'd use it. I feel like I just squandered my money on this, and I'm sure it'll break soon.

I'd just started locs, and my hair was so soft that the back would fall out. I only needed the smaller hook and the set was very simple to use.
