The longer needle is okay, but I didn't like the smaller ones being so much thinner. These needles were used to attach the legs and arms to stuffed dolls, but I would have liked them to be thicker and at least as thick as the longer needle to prevent them from bending as I worked with them. On top of that, the smaller eyes on the two shorter needles make it harder to use them.

I make crocheted stuffed animals for people who do not crochet. To get just the right expression, I often needed to use a longer needle when sculpting face of dolls. I got great results from these! They are very sturdy needles! The thickness of the leaves surprised me. Those are the ribbons I bought to tie a unique quilt I was working on and that I needed quite long and wide. Those are the results I was able to In my case, they didn't work well for the purpose I had in mind. My fabric was torn up by the large holes they made since they were so thick. Though I'm certain they would be wonderful for upholstery. In my opinion, this wouldn't be a good choice for quilting, unless you are using denim, in which case they would be difficult. In the event you don't mind large holes, you might be able to use them for doll-making (attaching arms and legs).
