What was the overall length of the rods?

They were roughly a foot in length.

I bought a 12-pack for a total of ten dollars. I'm guessing it was either tax or shipping that brought the total to 11.

Make sure to thoroughly read the description! I expected to receive a PACKAGE of plastic canvas. I only paid $4 for one sheet. The total cost is $11 if you include shipping. 64! Theft of a vehicle on the highway!.

I used these to repair sagging/stripped door hinges (drilling out existing screw holes, cutting the dowels, applying wood glue to the dowels, hammering them into the door frame, letting them dry/set, then re-installing the hinges). They worked great after I hung the door! When I ordered them, my only concern was that they might be warped (which would have rendered them useless for my purposes), but they were perfectly straight.

It has the potential to be better

The fact that the holes in this were not clean openings disappointed me a little. From the molding process, they still had a lot of "flashing" left in them. This may not be an issue for you, but I needed full air flow because I was using it as a project screen.

Excellent value for money

This was purchased to attach to the overflow of my Fluval Spec V tank; my betta loves to sit against the grate, so I installed it to keep his fins from becoming stuck. It really works. There was enough left over that I could repeat the process if necessary.

It wasn't as brightly colored as it had been described

It was supposed to be a bright yellow color. However, I think it's just plain yellow. I had an old registration sheet that I had ad. The tags were the same color as the yellow. Everything is the same, including the numbers. Yellow was also mentioned by both individuals. I had previously experimented with neon yellow and found it to be unique. Darice's ability to pull this off astounded me. It was bad enough that the cost per sheet was nearly three times what I usually paid. I'm going to keep it, but I'm not thrilled with it.
