So, so. Because I had a HORRID 2021, I've been completely insane. 'What the hell?' I thought as I watched a friend do amazing quilting, embroidery, and felting. 'I got this kit and threw myself into it with both feet!br>1. The brochure's videos do not work. br>2. There are a lot of good videos on YouTube. br>3. Stabbing something over and over is so much fun and satisfying. br>br>I'm currently working with my second animal; the bee. It resembles the stripes of a rabbit. Have a good time. br>.

The following is a list of the contents: multiple colors of wool in various amounts, six identical needles, a small block of foam, a small booklet to learn the basics, and three rubbery thimbles in various sizes (presumably for use on different fingers, but it could also be for size) to keep you from poking yourself br>I started with the penguin to get a feel for it, then looked up other ones to do online because the booklet only gives you three or four different ones to do via instructions, while the rest are just examples.
Pros; All of the contents were present, the instructions were simple to follow with the help of colored illustrations as well as written instructions, the colors and variety were lovely, there were plenty of needles, and everything was well packaged.
Cons; There's no good way to store the wool back in its original flimsy bag because it comes in plastic baggies that are only taped shut. Another thing to note is that the instructions never specify how much wool to use per project; the wool splits into separate locks and is a fixed length, but the instructions never specify how much to use, which I believe can result in either a larger project than anticipated or the risk of wasting the limited wool you have from the kit (since this is a kit and the intention is to try something new, I don't want to commit to going out and buying more wool if I'm not sure I like it).

First and foremost, I am a total novice. I learned a little from YouTube videos and created two items from another starter kit. To be sure, there's a lot in this kit, but there's not a lot of information about the items themselves. More than two creations would benefit from knowing the type of wool, needle size/sizes, and directions. Because each needle size treats wool differently, it's critical to understand the needle sizes. I'm assuming the needles in this kit are only one size because they aren't coded in any way to know what size they are. I got one other kit from Etsy for less and with more info, merino wool, multiple size needles, and instructions for more creations for less and shipped from the UK, and it had just as much if not more in it. My SIL makes the cutest Woolbuddies items, so I wanted to get a kit. Just a smidgeon of dissatisfaction on my part.

Everything you need to make felted items is included in this kit. except for the instructions And, despite the fact that the product's photos make it appear as if you can make a pig, a cake, or anything else, there is only one pattern for a penquin. And don't even think about it if you're a beginner.

The foam on my items came loose and got into my projects, which is why I gave it four stars instead of five, but I still recommend buying this kit. br>br>For a reasonable price, it's a very convenient and versatile starter pack! I especially like having so many colors: ) You can literally make anything out of the box!.

Everything in the description was included in the package, and it arrived in perfect condition. The felting mat is a good size, and the needles are strong when used properly. The thimbles are practical and fit comfortably on the fingers, and there is plenty of wool to get started. While there aren't a lot of colors in the kit, it contains enough for a beginner to get started. Only two projects are described in the book that comes with the kit: The monster cactus and the penguin. However, once you've mastered the art of shaping wool into shapes, you'll be ready to tackle anything else. To assist you, I recommend watching some YouTube videos. Overall, this kit is ideal for any beginner learning to felt, as it includes everything you'll need and is in excellent condition.

I bought this for my 8-year-old daughter to help her cut down on her screen time; she enjoys anything crafty, and she loves this! She quickly picked up on the technique and was able to complete a project in a single sitting. She is in desperate need of the sense of accomplishment that comes with completing a project like this. I decided to give it a try because watching her seemed so relaxing. My 14-year-old tried it and raved about it. It's incredibly simple to pick up and extremely relaxing. It's almost meditative in nature, and it's a very peaceful and relaxing activity. When we run out of wool, I'll be sure to stock up on replacements.

Since then, I've been needle felting with their Owl felting kit. I decided to give their new felting starter kit a shot. It comes with a plethora of goodies. I have 6 needles, so I won't be concerned if one breaks. a variety of colors thimbles, as well as a foam pad It also comes with a small booklet that explains how to use the tools. There are two easy projects in this book. Several Needle Felted Animals have already been created. Woolbuddies are likely to be purchased by my entire family for the holidays. I also purchased a felting mat from them. The best working surface for felting. I would strongly suggest it.
