Is this merino with short hair? Do you have any?

This is extra fine merino (about 19 microns) with a staple length of about 70mm, which is standard for Merino. Tanja, I hope this information is useful to you.

Is it possible to make handknit blankets with this?

I'd make a two-ply yarn out of it first, then knit the blanket.

Is it possible to make synthetic dreadlocks out of this? How much is there in this room?

Yes, many of our customers use our roving to create dreadlocks. I'm just not sure what you mean when you say "synthetic" - Maybe you're referring to synthetic hair (as opposed to human hair)? This roving is 100% superfine merino wool from a natural source . not made in a laboratory material. It resembles human hair quite closely. It's made of sheep's hair; ) that is very similar to human hair in terms of properties. I hope this information is useful. Tanja

Lovely, soft wool in a lovely color

I wet felted with this fiber. I wasn't sure how this type of roving color pattern would look when laid out for felting, but the colors were so appealing that I decided to try it. The roving was arranged in separate color groups, as shown in the pattern. It was okay to work with overall, but drafting was a little frustrating at times because the colored sections would separate a little and the draft wouldn't go smoothly. I made the hat in the photo, and I'm pleased with how it turned out. I'm not sure I'd buy this particular type of color patterned roving for most wet felting projects, but it does add some interest to a simple hat like this. Other Living Dreams fiber I've purchased has been a pleasure to work with.
