Questions & Answers
Your needles are probably color coded, I assume. The tool may be able to handle them, but due to the paint making the shank of the needle larger, they will not fit as tightly. It is easy to make these fit in the tool easier by lightly sanding the color off the shank with a piece of sandpaper before installation (there will usually be a color coating about a cm from the top). If the needles do not have the color coating, they should function as they do now.
As the needles are rotated sideways, the little bent parts should overlap at the top of the needles so they can be twisted to fit in a circle

Due to the fact that the cheaper plastic version did not last long, I purchased this model. It was also not possible to replace the needles. Don't waste your money on such a device. I like how this wooden tool can hold as many needles as I need, depending on my project. It's a good size, I like how it looks, and it's very easy No matter how much experience you have, you cannot ignore the importance of using the right tools.
It's a beautiful wood, but I have to do something before I can use it every day.
Well-crafted and sturdy, the wooden tool is a fine example of its type. There is no difference in size between this and others that It seems that felting will relieve some of the pressure off my hand because I am new to felting.
It's a great tool to use The easier to hold the better.
My tool of choice for dry felting is this one. I like that there's a choice between a large area and a small area for needle counts, so I can cover a large area or a small one at one time.
This product was amazing. It feels so nice and is very high quality.
It is sturdy and is comfortable to hold.
