Questions & Answers

Can you tell me if this is for one or two carders?

There was a pair of them. Also, I was wondering about the same thing. With only one carder, I am not sure how you can do fine hand carding. I wish you the best of For felting projects, we use them

Can one of these be used to blend cotton and Yes, I realize that this question is a bit odd. ?

I'm sad to say RodXXXI haven't tried this, but I'm certain that steel wool is so fine at that gauge that it would work. Thanks. I am not so concerned about whether the tool would be able to handle it (think about getting two so your life would be slightly extended), but whether the steel wool would tear the cotton apart. I hope that helps, best regards,

Despite what I was told, the product I received was very different from the picture
3/5

This might be a deal breaker for some people, such as A pair of Colonial Needle's mini fiber blenders, which I use for blending wool into small needles, are actually already in my possession The blends work well for small amounts, such as those needed for felting projects. My next wish was to have another set in a different color for working with In my design, I wanted light colors separate from dark colors, and both of them color-coded It's coded so that they can be tracked. Compared to my existing set, the one I have received has a rubber backing that is orange. It was the blue that is pictured that I wanted. I purchased my first pair at a local fiber store for a few dollars more, so these are a decent price, but I was disappointed that the product was not the same as it was To keep track visually, I'll color or label the wood handles so I don't have to deal with returning the item since it would be such a hassle. A 4 or 5 star rating would normally be given, except in this case, the lack of color. There has been a complaint that the size listed is not the same The following number is 11 times one. This image measures 8 inches by Adding a decimal point to "11" will result in a rounding error. There needs to be a correction to that This is basically a cheap pet brush, according to others. Some pet brushes have those ball points that prevent the bristles from poking into sensitive skin from what I have seen. According to a quick Internet search, a cheap pet brush of similar size can be found for $5 - $10, and the wool brushes are available in pairs at the same price. Just make sure you do not buy the brushes with the balls or those without rubber backings. If I were you I would buy a pair of these pet brushes just to give them a In any case, I would use a much better brush on pets if I had one, not a brush like this, with bristles that could cause pain to delicate.

I don't know what to do with these rip-offs I'll go

Recently, I became hooked on needle felting, and realized I needed this tool to make the wool fibers blend However, they are very small and do the job adequately. surface area of the blending station is one inch by two Dimensions of the product are listed as 4 x 1 in the product description. A8 paper - 11 inches wide by 8 inches high There is a mistake in that description Four inches is the total length of one of the tools, including the handle The length is half an inch. Dimensions listed in the product description must be those of the plastic bag containing the In addition, the tiny product size means that it takes a considerable amount of time to blend any fibers properly. It's too small for me, but I'm interested in a bigger set. I'm also disappointed by the description that indicates they can be packed well. I would also like to add that I started noticing the tines coming out about 2 months after I purchased them. Despite the poor quality of the product, and the misleading description, it is completely unnecessary to purchase it. It would have been better if I had returned them.

I am way too small for it to be as The package dimensions are not an indicator of what's inside

In order to comply with the 11-inch standard, the product length must be the entire length of the unopened package. There are a lot of them and they are nothing like the one in the picture. This product will not be purchased again and we do not recommend it to those looking for medium to full sized sheep or fleece This is very disappointing.

This is a handy tool
5/5

Some of the other reviewers have commented that the plates are small, with an average size of approximately 1 inch. A needle tooth is 5 inches by 2 inches, and its surface area is 2 inches by 1. 5 inches There is a difference between those two sizes. This is what I purchased to use with a wool roving from Michaels that I wanted to blend. The colors blend well and it is best to mix colors in small batches, since you will be able to brush through the fibers before the colors disappear. Otherwise, the blended colors would look like In addition to the felt sheets, I also bought some felt sheets from Michaels (since they had a wider color selection), and used these tools to separate those fibers. It worked really well!! The benefit of this is that I did not have to buy so much wool roving (that can be pricey) and I also got sheets that were cheaper and in a color I wanted. Besides being very useful for small projects, this is a excellent tool to have!.

The product should not be used in the manner described - Pets should only be taken care of by professionals
3/5

Fiber carding at all is NOT for this. There are a variety of fibers as soft as silk, cotton, baby alpaca, baby camel, and cashmere that I have tried it on. I only gave it two stars for misrepresenting itself because the tines bend and go out of line. I gave it more than one star, however, as it is excellent for kittens, long-haired cats, and bunnies, and it has proved its worth over time.

I can't believe how tiny these are. You will not be able to use it if there is more than 1 ounce A lifetime will pass before it is finished. The toys are just for fun. The rims of the wheels were even I am extremely.

These tiny toys are so cute

not the 11x4 inch canvas described on the website Approximately 4 by 2 inches, they are. The documents are so thin that I don't even have to take them out of the package to tell they are not durable enough to card with. You are so funny, I can't believe you! They may have a purpose, but I have no idea what that could possibly.

It's not a good idea to use these brushes. It is not possible to use more than a small amount of dubbing when mixing.
