Questions & Answers
Our finger protectors are made of top-layer cowhide, which is supple and comfortable.
The needle felting kit comes with everything you need to make your own wool felt.
I'm sure you can, but it'll leave a big hole in your pocket. I wouldn't recommend using these to root hair on a silicone baby doll. A 42 gage 1 barb is what I'd recommend. These are meant to be used with felt, so I hope that helps.

The condition of the box was excellent. It was delivered the next day. The only thing that struck me was a previous reviewer's comment about the needles leaving marks. After reading that review, I used alcohol to clean the needles and the insides of the tubes before using them. I'm assuming it's oil residue from the manufacturing process. The needles appear to be as strong as any I've used in the past. This is a kit that I would recommend to other people. Good luck with your felting.
When I received my package, I was pleasantly surprised. It included everything you could possibly need or want to get started with felting, all neatly organized in a well-made box for safekeeping. It includes enough pins, foam, and felting needles to get you started on making your adorable little projects. It's well worth the money, and it's by far the best-assembled set.

I'm still not sure what the single glue stick is for, but I was able to start felting almost immediately. I've switched to a cloth bag of rice instead of the foam pad, but that's just a personal preference; I'm glad I had the foam first to learn the difference.
This isn't good. They are easily broken, and they do not keep the wool in place when felting!.
When I bought this, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. We had two felting needles from Michaels, and we needed to ramp up and get a replacement after the one I had been using for two years broke (due to my daughter trying to lever open a lid - (Not during the felting process, for example. ) I'm not sure why so many reviews claim that these are high-quality needles. They're completely useless and constantly break, leaving a sharp metal end embedded in the piece you're working on. If we can't get it out, we'll have to throw the whole thing away - That's a bit disappointing. I also agree with another reviewer that the wooden piece's groove is too small - We also had to make it wider in order for the needles to fit. The fact that it is inexpensive is about the only positive aspect of this kit. Even so, I'm not sure the aggravation was worthwhile. Perhaps the shears and finger guards were what I paid for because they worked. If anyone can point me in the right direction for good felting needles, I'd be grateful.
I really like this kit, but the container was cracked, and the single needles handle was also split open, which disappointed me. Although it appears to be ideal for beginners, the quality is simply not there.
It was fantastic, and it made my bunny chihuahua's first day so much fun. lol. It'll either be one or the other next time. however, it is very simple.
