Product Description

It is hard and strong, and feels smooth and glossy. Made of metallic iron, these wool felting needles are a great addition to any felting kit. Moreover, these needles are maintained in a case made of iron, making them easily collected. Felting kit of the highest quality that is suitable for home crafts.

Needle Felting Kit Dimensions They are triangular in shape, with 3 sizes, 36 gauge, 38 gauge, 40 gauge (the higher the gauge, the smaller the needle diameter, and the smaller the barb). Your wool will gradually firm up as it firms, so you will need to change to a finer/smaller needle as it firms up.

The felting needles in this set are color coded so that 6 of the 3 colors are 3 of a kind. There are two colors of yellow and red on the 1" felting needles, and three colors on the 3" needles. A 4" felting needle has green and purple on both sides, and a 3" needle has violet. Felting needles with two colors of blue and gold are 54" in length. We have 6 colors in total.

A typo appears to have occurred in the description of the needles/gauges? Two times I see green mentioned on this page. I want to know which gauge colour goes with which gauge. Your kind consideration is greatly appreciated. ?

A 36 gauge blue and gold wire. A 38 gauge green and purple wire. A 40 gauge yellow and red wire.

Where can I find a needle holder that will fit The needles I put in are slanting and I am afraid they may break? I have one but the needles are slanting when I put them in?

If there were a color/size chart it would have been great! Information such as this can be found on the listing, however it ought to be on the tin itself. Moreover, the three sizes are the only ones available, yet there are six colors available? The triangle is all there is.

There is no reason why these should be color coded, rather than sending a list that identifies the colors that correlate with the number sizes.
