Each one measures 3 cm in length. A little less than 1 1/4 inches in length. I have to return. This was too short.
Yes, and I would recommend using silk thread as well

There was also a follow-up review added later. It's finally here! The best beading needles for easy handling and durability. My hands are bigger than most women's (I am Anishinaabekwe) and I find that small needles bend and break easily Thank you for these! Now I do not have to use needles and waste It's nice to have This is a great product! I have to write a second review on these amazing needles after I have used them for a few weeks. A portion of my granddaughter's regalia, like her hair tie and choker, was beaded by me. As far as I know, my needle is not broken. Neither it has a bend nor it has weak spots. This is such an awesome set of needles. It was one needle that I used for so long that I would have broken many more if I had worn them repeatedly. I would give this a six (6) star rating.
I find these needles to be just the right size for me as an aging quilter with aging eyesight. They have a large eye size so I can thread them, but they're still small enough so I can pull them through multiple layers without needing pliers. For me, too, it takes a lot to bend them. Without swapping needles, I can usually complete a whole lap quilt without needing to swap out tools.
It is a pair of size 10 sharps that are "from" England - sort of. The needles were made in China to the quality and specifications specified by Entaco and packed and inspected in England. The photo seems to show them in a good light, but they are actually quite dull.
It is perfect for tracking down the bindings of my quilts. While I have tried other types and sizes, I have now settled on this size. You may need a needle threader, but the needle allows you to thread a perfect 1/4-inch hole without any hassle. For binding, use a stitch length of one inch. You can choose stitch sizes 11 or 12 if you want a smaller stitch.
They are of good quality, sharp, and slide smoothly though the quilt layers.
The needles I received were not the ones I ordered. You will be able to use them someday, I am sure. My usage of them is limited by their short length. My order of the incorrect item was made even though the needles were of good quality.
I'm very pleased. These needles are short compared to many beading needles, but do not break out of shape as readily as the longer needles. These really appeal to me!.
