I originally bought the cards for another purpose, but they ended up working out perfectly for the original project I purchased them for. A double-ended hook measures approximately 1/2 inch in length and 1/4 inch in width, and is extremely strong and durable. As a hang hook or tension hook for macrame nests, I have used these in my bird cage (both as hang hooks and as tension hooks) and they have endured the weight of a chicken.
