Latch hooking is a therapy that my daughter practices. The color-coded pattern is printed directly on the canvas by LatchKit. The pattern is not printed on the canvas in any other kit we've tried, making it much more difficult; this is her third Latch Kit rug. We're hoping they'll come up with more patterns because she adores them.
The design is very cute. I remember getting this for a kindergartener to try when I was younger. She was uninterested in the item, which was not due to its fault. I took a star off because the canvas arrived folded, with horizontal and vertical fold marks. Before working with it, it would have to be ironed or flattened. It kept folding in on itself and wouldn't lay flat on a surface as you tried to loop and latch it, which was a little frustrating. Another star was taken away because it was not in new condition when it arrived. The box was seen to be open. The tape that had kept the box shut had been cut.
This was a Christmas present for my 8-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loved it once she figured it out. It's now on her wall. It's actually quite simple!.
I like how vibrant the colors are. During the Covid lockdown, this has been a fantastic activity for my grandchildren and me to do together. I purchased a total of six different ones. They are enjoyable for the children, and they do not become frustrated while doing them. This is ideal.
The only issue I had was with the latch hook that came with it, which kept pulling on the yarn and shredding it. I went out and bought a different latch hook, and then I had a lot of fun with this project.
I'm an adult, and pulling the yarn through the mesh is a difficult task for me. It's extremely difficult for both of my granddaughters, which isn't good. I've never had this issue with anyone else!.
This is something I bought for my granddaughter to use when she visits. I'd like for her to dabble in a variety of crafts. It's simple for her to do and will keep her occupied for hours; the sides are also bound to keep the mesh from fraying. Beginners will love it.
But it's not the same as when I was a kid. These were something I used to do as a kid, and the kit used to come with a color guide. Because this one didn't, it's a little more difficult to figure out where the colors go. Apart from that, my 8-year-old daughter enjoyed it once she got the hang of it!.
