There are no batteries included with the tree skirt.

Tree skirts are difficult to work with - We recommend starting with a simple stocking kit (Jolly St Nick is a good one).

There isn't a village set to be found, unfortunately.

As a Christmas present, I created this. To build the house, door, and trees, you'll need to create templates for cutting out poster board. Some of the instructions are incorrect (for example, it does not state that you should embroider the door before sewing it to the back of the door, and the column felt pieces are too large and must be cut down). The same number appears on two of the felt pieces. ) A difficult task that yielded a beautiful result.

These will be used as Christmas decorations, such as on a wreath or a tree, or simply as a window display. It's a lot of fun to play with colors and designs. I had a lot of fun experimenting with various styles. If you enjoy glistening details, this is the book for you.

The only issue I had was that I needed to purchase a pack of white floss because I had run out; however, this was not a problem because it was only a dollar. I'm used to working on these types of projects, so I didn't waste it. Still, it's a good kit, and when you're done with it, you'll be able to use it for years.
