I like the embroidery kits because they relieve the stress of having to choose a design, colors, and stitches; instead, you can focus on actually doing the project. It took me about a month to complete all three. Overall, the value for money is excellent, with high-quality fabric, floss, and instructions. The hoop that comes with it is plastic; I prefer a wooden hoop for display, but my goal was to frame them anyway.
This is my second kit, and I'm a novice at embroidery. Keep this in mind as I compare and contrast the two. The instructions in this kit provide step-by-step instructions. However, using the instructions provided, I was unable to complete the task. I simply looked up some videos on YouTube. This, however, is most likely due to a difference in learning styles. The pattern is lovely, but it's a breeze to finish. Unlike the cheaper kit that I had originally purchased, the Uphome brand provided far more thread than was required. This is well worth the money, and while the kit is slightly more expensive than others, you get a lot more value in the end, including extra needles. I'll buy from you again, without a doubt!.
In fact, I've since developed a system for stitching on the hoops from this kit and then transferring them to wood hoops once they're finished!.
I'd suggest it. From start to finish, I worked on these in spurts for about 5 months. Excellent value for money; plenty of thread and needles are included, and ink on fabric is easily removed with water. I like the different stitches and designs, as well as the finished product hanging on my wall!.
No clear or real instructions just what yarn to use and shitches but no instructions on how to actually do them like how to string on and didn't even tell me that I needed to pull apart the strings to make strands am I missing parts? I'm not sure, but figuring this out is a pain. I would return this one because it did not include a tool to insert the string into the needle, as previously stated.
This is extremely perplexing, and I believe there are insufficient instructions provided. In addition, the needle and thread appear to be too large, making it difficult to complete. I'll be watching a lot of YouTube videos, but I think the diagrams could have been better. In addition, I believe there is a thread that I am missing.
Simple to understand and implement. Beginners will love it. When they're finished, they look fantastic. All of the necessary materials were included in the kits. It was a lot of fun and very relaxing. ♥️.
Because I'm a beginner, my only gripe is that they only send you enough string and nothing more. It makes my life a little more difficult!.
