I don't know. It has a number of stunning and versatile blocks, as well as a number of other patterns based on those I have not seen the BEST written quilt patterns, nor are they the WORST. If you are experienced in quilting, however, you should be able to use them. Despite being wire bound and on glossy paper stock, the book I received is thin and flimsy. Simply turning the pages damages them because the binding leaves just a small gap between the spine and the edges. A separate complaint I had was that the book arrived in a box loose, not packaged, not cushioned, with wire bound pages poking out the bottom of There are many books that won't stand the test of time but this one won't It is highly likely that it will fall apart before I get halfway through the quilt. Therefore, if you buy this book, be sure to buy a boatload of sheet protectors.

There are more than 40 unique vintage Christmas quilt blocks in this book, as well as 24 projects with This book is all about the Christmas season, but although most of the blocks are for the Christmas season you can make a non-Christmas quilt with them. Many of the blocks in the book were used to make a quilt in blue and white. For absolute beginners, this is not a good choice, however it can be used by more experienced learners.

A quilting retreat I attended recently introduced me to this book. There is a lot of variety in the Christmas patterns this year. You can make an endless number of projects from table runners, table toppers, to wall hangings, and each will be different due to the availability of so many blocks to choose from. The price is reasonable. I'm in love with.

As a novice quilter, I have a lot to learn In my opinion, the instructions are clear and easy to understand. Any errors I made were due to my inability to read or measure clearly, and my inability to go back and fix them later. This book was untampered with, it wore well, and I expect that if it's taken care of, it should last for years. Blocks offer so much variety and are fun to play with. In addition, these blocks are simple to make and can be used up stash easily. Nonetheless, because most of my collection of fabric does not blend well (and there were a few measuring errors), I plan to make mug rugs out of these blocks instead of a quilt. Overall, I definitely recommend this book to those who love Christmas patterns and want to make something Even if nothing else, it's a great tool for learning.

I'd never heard of Loriholt before this. It is not yet time to start the Vintage Christmas Quilt. I have purchased the FGV1 & FGV2 It's 2 and I really enjoy it. Here are some easy steps to follow. The beginning to the beginning of the advanced course. Excellent instructions on how to cut. There are pictures showing how to cut, sew, and square up with each step.

The book is excellent. I love all the cute blocks that I've seen lately. Many cute ideas to choose from. As a sew along, I am going to build the truck with the tree. The book is what caused me to buy it. It was the best decision I have ever made. Initially, it seemed a bit costly, but once I saw what I could do with it, it wasn't.
