The couple had splinters, but I sanded them out and kept them

In a word, I can sum it up as follows It is inexpensive. I don't know how to tighten up the second word.

I don't know how to tighten this up. According to what I can tell, I would have needed a special tool. There is nothing I can do with my fingers to tighten it. The Aida had to be placed on a table and then inserted on the table. I tend not to need to do this very often. My problem was with a round 4 inches in diameter, and a round 24 inches in diameter.

I cannot get the fabric to stay in place

When I first saw these, I thought they were awesome. There is a fair amount of uniformity in the color and the surface texture. When I tried to tighten them, I found that they were very difficult to use and I had to use pliers to do this. After I got the fabric tight, there is still an area where the fabric doesn't fit perfectly between the two hoops.

It is not possible to open or loosen It seems like the wood part of the hoops are fine, but the screws at the top are terrible As a result, I cannot widen the hoops enough to use them for embroidery, etc

Although I really wanted to love these products, they are not of very high Using hoops will snag the cloth you're using due to sharp wood spurs. There is a good range of sizes and price point but you will need sandpaper to fix them after you buy.
