Colored thread is a fantastic addition to any project

Not so much in terms of metal. The rainbow thread appeals to me because of its color, variety, and high quality. The metallic thread looks like tinsel and is very inexpensive. It is prone to fraying at the drop of a hat. Although I understand that metallic thread is notoriously difficult to work with, this appears to be a bit excessive in terms of quality.

It's great value for money, and almost every color comes in a pair. It takes an incredibly long time to figure out which is which, and the color card that comes with it is completely useless. They're not quite as nice as DMC threads, but they're a great deal.

The color chart is difficult to use, but the thread is fine

The color chart, on the other hand, is perplexing. The colors don't all match, or there are multiple colors that are close to the boxes, but none are close enough to say that number is correct. It can be perplexing.
