Dimensions Gold Collection Counted Cross Stitch Kit, Santa's Secret Christmas Cross Stitch, 18 Count White Aida, 7'' x 5'

As much as I love the design and am happy with the instructions and most parts of the kit, they pretty much live up to what they are advertised to be. I find the packaging to be a bit gloomy. This plastic packaged item is easy to open because of its snap-together design. When mine opened up before I received it, the needle fell out before it was put into the shipping box, so I didn't receive it. There is no missing thread, but I have not gotten very far yet, so I have not used all The new way Dimensions organizes the thread is also an issue. There are four color cards attached to each sheet. The less chance of colors being mixed up is nice, but you have to cut the thread to begin with.

The kit was great when it came to inspect it then I held it for 45 minutes then it was taken from my hands and thrown in the trash after I found out items were missing and the kit was losing its seal then I had to reorder several items which were damaged in transit.

It has been a few years since I did a cross stitch project, and my eyes don't function as well as they used to. My printer had to be enlarged to make the pattern easier for me to read, but I couldn't enlarge the fabric. I get larger ones, but I have to remember that.

The finished piece has great color shading and accent back stitching. I bought this for a gift but I can't bear to part with it after it is finished.
