Do you have extra sequins I can purchase? Having trouble coming up with the goods?

This is my stocking and I seem to remember being short of the sequins on the white part. The last batch of stockings I made prior to this one left me with an abundance of extras, so I had no problem making If you do not have any sequins left over, you can always buy small packages of sequins at any craft store you are sure to find the right

Can you recommend some places to find dimensions string? I ran out of string and can't find some similar colors in DMC. Can you point me to some?

According to my understanding, if you email Dimensions the color you've run out of, they will sometimes mail you a few more, but they usually do not sell If not, you need to strive for as close a match as possible to the DMC colors. Trying to find it online is harder than taking it into a store.

I have updated As you can see, I am very happy with the way the stocking My daily workload was about 3 hours most days, and it took me about 5 weeks to finish it. still had ample floss left over (I had at least one full piece left of each color), even after changing the border colors and my boy's The stocking I made for my husband last year had the plans for it, so I didn't use felt. I also did not make the braided yarn hanger - that could have taken a long time. However, I don't think the fabric tab will hold up as well over time as my paper tab did. Overall, I am satisfied. As I do with the one my mom made for me 30 years ago, I hope my son will appreciate this one as well when he's older. The kit I got today looks like it will be fun to complete for my baby, and I will be able to make it for her. This pattern is exceptionally easy to read, thanks to the clear instructions and colored pattern. As well as the floss, an aida square, a needle, and felt for backing, the package includes well-labeled and organized supplies. Once I am finished with the stocking, which will hopefully be before Christmas, I will update my review.

This is the first stocking I've My husband loves his candy cane Santa stocking, and I made it for him
5/5

The project was delivered in a timely manner, and I completed it within three Although I made the stocking using the felt, I decided to go with a nice dark green velvet for the lining, as the felt provided meant it would be much more noticeable from the inside. The one I bought for myself is going to be ready for hanging once it is in my home!.

needs to improve the quality of their print and the thickness of felt used
3/5

I have made several holiday stockings for the company. Stockings of the Bucilla brand have been the most common. The pros are We gave this item 2 stars because it has a cute design and was priced reasonably. Negative features I. A.
. There is too little felt in the bag. The pieces were so thin that I was afraid to rip a hole in them. As for the little stars, I had to glue them on because they were too fragile to appliqué. As soon as the glue dried, I went through the stocking and sequins once again to secure them. I started with the sequins on the small stars first. 1. 2. 3. I couldn't make out the print on the stocking through the pieces. It's been a big challenge to move the pieces in place and, again, I almost ripped the felt. The face has been one of the most challenging parts. There is a thin layer of felt covering the cheeks. Since the piece is printed it is certain that the edges would be torn if it were embroidered. My templates were made from paper (I held the felt piece up against the window and placed the paper over it, then sketched the cheek outline). My next step was to use some pink felt I had on hand. I forgot to mention that the face is really light pink, not flesh-colored. As far as I can tell, it works fine. It was just a little surprising that it was The design was appealing to me.

I continue to work on it.

I have to quilt your beard. Oh my gosh! My photos will be posted once I am finished. The recommendation is not to be followed.

A stunning work of art! The challenge was a little difficult, but it was Through Amazon Warehouse, I was able to get this kit at an affordable price
5/5

Though I had never purchased from a Warehouse before, I decided to take a chance. The description of the kit said it might be damaged, so I went for it. This was a very small cut in the cellophane. It had no effect at all on the contents! It's an absolute steal for such a beautiful and intricate In order to give you an idea of how difficult it was, the hat alone took 16 hours to complete. That furry brim has lots of gray and white shades in it! A bit of a pain in the rear, but If one were to rank needlepoints on a scale of one to ten, with ten being the hardest, this one would be Toys like the beard and face of the man, as well as his cuff and sleeve are heavily colored. The rich texture and bright colors of his fabric are indicative of this. This floss was neatly organized and labelled, and the diagrams and instructions were clear and simple to understand. It didn't occur to me to separate the large strands of floss into separate fluffy bits As I work, I keep my stitch tension tight and make sure that I am not pulling each one too tightly, as well as taking care not to twist the strand. As a result, you are left with a gorgeous heirloom-quality piece of jewelry My kids are fighting over the stockings I gave them as gifts. Definitely my best stocking since I started making things six years ago.

I really like how detailed this is! I just love the style of this is a wide range of shade variations which makes it appear Cross stitch has been my main hobby and I have done an extensive amount of it
5/5

With the small stitches and the intricate color variations, this one was quite a challenge. As a beginner, I would not recommend it since it keeps you on your toes. Cross stitches are not the only stitching type there is. Half stitches, back stitches, French knots, couching, and sequin attachment are also present. There are also half stitches that are made from two, three, four and even five strands, not just two stands. I only have one complaint, and that's the fact I ran out of numerous strands of the frequently used colors, such as green shades, burgundy, etc. Using five threads quickly depletes it, even though I kept to directions and didn't waste any. Thankfully, I found a thread that could be used in its place. There are also some stitches that are made from two different colors, which increase the depth and beauty of the details. This is a photo I took showing my work for three. After five months of daily work, the amount of hours worked increased. will finish the top with the baby's name as soon as he or she is born, as well as the lining and details, which will make it even more beautiful! There is a lack of quality in the white felt backing included in the kit as well, as many users also say. As a result of paying so much time to make this piece, backing it with such a cheap, white felt would not do the piece any justice. I decided to use a nicer quality red felt on the back, which I believe will complement the piece. As per the instructions, each six-finger segment should be separated by a three-finger segment Transform 3-stranded fiber into a single-stranded fiber. The process seemed to be a waste of time and it would be so much easier to separate them as needed as opposed to weaving them Furthermore, I labelled each envelope with the number that corresponded to the color. It was organized and much easier to use when it was filed numerically.
