Questions & Answers

Is the thread created automatically?

Darling, this is not good. There is a magnifier with the instructions for this one. When it arrives, there are no surprises It's threaded, and you might want to take some photos of the panel with the panel open to see how the threads run. Having these documents would help you to quickly refer to them rather than the instructions, since one of the illustrations is not identical to the instructions. As with any new process, it requires some learning, but if you can keep track of the instructions and your photos, you should be fine. The mistakes I have made were caused by the threads getting tangled A lot of attention to detail is required when operating one of these, and double check all steps before starting. If you do not thread this in the right order, then it will not The app works well, but you have to get used to it. Trying again isn't a waste. The Bernina (made by Juki) or something that is easier to thread would have been my choice if I had the money. My use of it is not sufficient to justify a thousand or two dollars Black Friday had a great deal on this one.

Do you have the option of purchasing additional special feet for this machine? What kind of feet will work for this machine? In what range is it priced?

You can purchase special feet in the following categories Piping Foot, Beading Foot, Curved Pearl Foot, Universal Blind Stitch Foot*br>These 8 feet can be yours for just 129$.

With this machine, what is the best brand of thread to use?

Depending on the fabric you are sewing, it can vary a lot. Cone thread is usually the cheapest thread you can find and it works well for me. However, I also prefer using sulky thread to roll my hem for a fancier look.

Is this serger capable of passing through the thick side seams of jeans so that they can be hemmed?

That's what mine has done. To get my heavier duty needles, all I had to do was change my needles. It hasn't given me any problems trimming the leg of my adult children's jeans, as I've used my serger to do.

Love is in the air
5/5

I have updated In spite of its bad reputation, the machine is still a terrible machine. Nothing to see here. Nothing to see here. I've never had a tension issue. My best results have come from following the basic suggestions found online and in the manual if I ever have to adjust the tension. In addition to using a stiff paintbrush to keep her tidy, I also purchased a very fancy Mini attachment set for my Miele vacuum as the cheap ones would not fit on the unit. highly recommend buying a mini attachment set instead of using a mini vacuum, as its suction power is not enough to clean the floor thoroughly. Use only fresh air. Do not use canned air. If you wish, you can look into it. don't do it because my favorite sewing blog (Sewing Out Loud podcast) says never to do it. The machine I prefer to use is this one, however I just purchased and haven't used the Juki Coverstitch. I already love both of them! Let's see who I prefer! The owner of this blog is new to sewing ( about a year old), and has never serged anything before today. I've spent hours (and hours) on the web watching videos of Baby Locks. Then I realized that I will always buy a new car instead of a serger after I saw the preowned prices. In order to match reality with my thinking, I readjusted my perspective. The hours of research that followed led me to choose the Juki over the Brother, Singer, A new machine has been delivered to me. As soon as I saw it, I threaded it. It was helpful for me to watch videos on the topic, and I learned best through visuals. The threading of the needle was successful after about 5 minutes, and after stitching I encountered no problems with tension. There are many things I am proud of in my life, including no children, excellent vision, a large workspace, and plenty of "free time". The factors above made the whole thing go more smoothly for me, but I have to tell I have never seen anything like this before. It was literally kissed before I snatched myself away from her at 1 a. m. to get to bed. With one use of the JUKI machine, my life was changed. The feel of the machine is dense, compact, and of high quality. I almost exclusively sew knits now. The kind of thing you'd see in an industrial park. I would like nothing frilled or brittle. I would like nothing This is all I have to say A true hard-core. As of yet- Friendliness and sexiness come together to make a touch that is pleasant. If you do not yet own this amazing machine, I strongly recommend that you do, even if (like me) you have to spend a bit of extra time watching youtube videos while.

Amazing! I like it a lot! With respect to my background, I have been sewing for over 30 years and I run a small business that sells items made from jean fabrics, cork and vinyl fabrics, upholstery fabrics, and just your everyday quilting fabrics
5/5

As I was looking for a replacement for my used Singer serger, which was giving me so many problems, I found a serger that meets all of my needs. This brings me great joy since I've been wanting to make purses and aprons with it. The whole experience was pleasantly surprising. As soon as I heard the Juki name, I knew it would be great A couple years ago I bought a Juki DLL8700 industrial machine and I cannot speak highly enough of it, Having already had a very high opinion of the company's quality, I already had an opinion of it. Easy to thread, easy to adjust, lightweight, and easy to use, this machine was very simple to It is used for just about everything I sew, be it purses, aprons, bags, or anything else. Despite the fact that two layers of cork fabric cannot be cut through, it cuts through three layers of jean fabric without a problem. The thing works as a dream even after I abuse it regularly! My machine has been around for close to three years and I have only been able to have it serviced once by a professional so that it can work as well as possible. If I don't do it myself, I will You can do it in that way. It is one of the best sergers I have ever owned. You will not regret getting it. I don't usually say this about anything There is no better machine out there. I highly recommend it.

I found it easy to thread and it sewed beautifully
3/5

My serger broke last night after being used on a weekly, or even daily basis, for 8 months. Up until last night, the machine sewed perfectly and I had no problems threading it. In the last hour, the upper and lower loopers became jammed, and that affected the timing. I think I am to blame for what happened. Because I broke a thread, I pulled out all the remaining ones to repair it (But I didn't think pulling threads would really affect Today, the price A fee of $358 was charged to me. An estimate of $225 to $250 was given by the shop A $300 repair and $250 replacement of dull knives will be required. The $250 I will have to spend on a repair is better spent on buying the $315 machine instead of repairing it. The situation is so You can still reap the benefits of this machine if you care for it properly.

I like it a lot! My Brother 1034D has been replaced by this Juki
5/5

I couldn't be happier with it. It is a lot smoother and quieter than the previous version. Taking threads apart and then reassembling them takes some practice, but once you get the hang of it, you can finish it in This is a tip for you Please ensure that you pull your thread tightly into your tension dial. This was what I had to figure out in order to get the tension just right. Here are a couple cons of the software In order for knit fabrics to lie flat, I have to turn the differential feed all the way up or it pulls the fabric back in the machine The waves make it look What a strange thing to find out. Most of the time, it is set Furthermore, why is it that scraps do not have their own bin? There is no way I can fit my brother tray into there. I've tried it, but it doesn't fit Even so, it was much needed upgrade, and the rest of the machine is great too.

I was very excited to have bought a Juki serger since I'd read and been told great things about the brand
3/5

I'm very disappointed in this machine. Getting consistent tension has been extremely difficult, and I have therefore not been able to get consistent After the seams begin to unravel, they are good for a few inches, before one looper comes loose, then the next, and then a needle stitch goes I spent hours scratching my head over it When I was done with reading the manual, watching online videos, and trying every tension), I took it to a dealer. As well, they were unable to get it to work properly. Because my dealer isn't licensed to work on new Jukis, I emailed Juki for help. In order to help me, I will now have to wait for their service guy to call It has been years since I serged with other machines, so I am beyond upset that this one does not.
