The crochet cocoon cardigan makes for a warm, cozy blanket I can throw on when I walk the dogs at night, or when I snuggle up on the sofa for movie nights. The thing I live in almost every day. Also, those two brown and teal yarns are Bernat Softee Chunky. It is interesting to note that after a cycle in the washer and dryer, the softness almost doubles. Neither the color nor the quality are affected by shrinkage. Softness is all that needs to be done. Also perfect for doggies, this blanket can be used as a cardigan. Another will have to be made from more stuff I need to purchase.

Blankets won't last long with this

There is more of a pale yellow shade than an off white. Furthermore, this yarn does not work up well or wash very I am making a blanket that looks more like a rug, in that it is too thick and is not It would have been better if I didn't buy 12 skeins of this yarn but I had already bought them, so I wasn't able to go back and replace them. Except if I decide to make carpets out of it, I won't use it again.
