On the bottom of the spindles is a dowel that fits into a hole in This dowel is long enough to sit flush & is not protruding from the edge of the board It is safe. If yarn is pulled tightly, it does not wobble [unless super hard is applied]. My multi-beam double base is wonderful, and I recommend it over a single, as it is much more stable. You will not be disappointed with this purchase since it's handy even for using 2 yarns at the same time even if you don't use 2 yarns simultaneously. The experience will be unforgettable!
Upon completion it stands 11 and 1/4", was 9 and 3/4" wide and has 2 dowels that are 6 and 1/4" apart from the inside and can hold Joannes Caron One Pound Yarn, one on each side (2) without tangling. However, I find that the wood is too light, so it takes a while to pull, but it slides off the table. As a result, I was going to Velcro both sides of the holder and the table, but I already had tape on hand. There is no slide any longer, and I wish they made a metal four-holder A 5 out of 5
I think that's a fantastic If you knew what to do and how to do it, I believe it would be possible. Using it in this manner would be more beneficial if it was made by someone with crafting skills.

Typically, I have not found it difficult to pull over, except when I have a yarn ball with a hole too small to let the yarn sit on the base all the way. Wrap your yarn around a 1/2-inch diameter if you are winding it yourself A 4 inch piece of PVC pipe is the perfect size. I bought the double spindle because it was considerably cheaper than a single spindle, and I am glad I did because I have used both spindles frequently. For storage, it is possible to lift out the spindles that are in the base (I thought they would be screwed to the base, but they are not). The question of whether this will work with the center-left model has been asked a lot Is there a way to pull skeins, and of course there is, because all center-pivot knitters do There are some pull skeins that can be pulled from the outside, as well (at least I haven't seen any that couldn't). In this way, there will be no need to pull from the center, and it should work with most shapes and sizes of skeins, except for really big.
It is the best spinning yarn holders I have ever had. I highly recommend them to anyone who uses yarn or is in the process of unraveling it by hand. They hold yarn of every size and save me hours of work each day.
since it solved a problem and worked. . . but it's a bit fragile. The short of it is that I agreed to make a lace veil for a friend's child out of coned threads from 2 different sources. The job was going to be extremely frustrating if I didn't have a double spindled holder. My experience has been positive and I am grateful for that. Some of my issues with this item were related to the way it slides around. This did not help even though I used a no skid mat. It will take some time for me to work out how to use The base had to be moved a number of times because I am a fast knitter. There is a thin attachment between the spindles and the spindle base, so you have to move the thread or thread very I have a second issue with this system, it only works with open-topped A cone which I needed to use had a closed top was one of the threads I needed. As I needed to cut the top off to fit on the spindle, I had to wrestle the threads down. That was my mistake for not realizing it but somebody should be aware of it. I managed to get my project completed on time and it ended up working pretty well once I got both cones in place. As a result, my husband came up with a way to tie it down with bungee cords. A lot of thread/yarn will be pulled and is likely to skate around.
A list of the pros of the BarvA double spindle yarn holder is presented here. The project was completed smoothly, so there is no need to worry These spindles are wide enough to accommodate super sized balls of yarn, but thin enough to allow them to be inserted easily into the center of the balls. Despite the pros, there are some cons to consider, which are so significant that this yarn holder should not be seriously considered. The product is not weighted, so it will slip from whatever it is placed on immediately. A constant slipping of the spindles causes the platform to move. Despite having watched another reviewer's video in which the holder was taped to the It still made sense to me to sit I don't think it did. In the base, there is a direct connection between the spindles and the frame. I would probably return this if it weren't so difficult, so this will likely end up at Goodwill. The finish and size of the spindles don't even come close to outweighing its flimsiness, for that reason I can only give it a It is very easy to find double yarn spindles like Pappa Jack on Etsy for a great price. This is a much better place to invest your money.
You need to roll the yarn when you buy it otherwise it will tangle when you knit, sometimes it comes where you can put one half on one pole of this and the other half on the other and start rolling into a ball, sometimes you can use only one pole. product has a swivel pole that rotates around and around so it was much easier to roll the yarn into a ball, and I also bought a holder to hold the ball while I'm knitting or crocheting this makes it easier to knit or crochet.
When crocheting squares, I became frustrated by the amount of times I had to stop and unwind lengths. This solved my problem. When it arrived, it was easy to assemble, it moves smoothly, and it is quite quiet. My order for a double was definitely worth it, and I'll be placing another order for a double in the future. My only regret is that I didn't order it sooner. As a result, I have worked much faster and have experienced a great deal less frustration. The yarn holders I got were great!.
It is so convenient to crochet or knit with two cakes at the same time (as I often do to create patterns that are reversible or that work as colorwork). During knitting, the dowels hold the cakes in the center and as you continue to work, they spin so the yarn is fed smoothly without getting snagged or pulled. If you want to achieve the best results, you should pull evenly from the outside, not the center, of a cake or skein. What a great idea! Despite its plastic construction, this yarn ball holder is 5 stars in terms of quality and construction. The wood is high quality, and it has a beautiful appearance. It was an excellent purchase for me, and I refer anybody who works with yarn to it. This book is worth every penny and more.
There are times when the little things make things I bet the crocheter in your life would be over the moon with this! That is a beautiful gift, thank you! Though I had to make their cone tops bigger to fit (which was a snap), what a difference it has made to my needlework in terms of tidyness and ease of use! There aren't enough words to describe how much I recommend this.
