There are times when the main keyhole is too tight and you need to hold the key perfectly straight in order to operate it. It may have happened a few times when I used the secondary hole, but it was very rare. It isn't a big deal, but I don't remember it being a big deal.
Cables made by Knit Picks are designed to work with needles by Knit Picks. There is no way it can work because it was not designed for such.
There is a little tool that fits into the hole on each end of the cable which allows you to change the needles. It takes just a few seconds to remove the tool from its holder and turn the tip. It is easy to change needle sizes by putting on a new one and then inserting the tool in the hole and tightening. It works to make sure the needle tip stays tight during knitting and doesn't come off because I use a rubber disk to hold it.
They can be used with either Knit Picks brand needles or Nose Picks brand needles.

In my photo, you can see the Boye set. This circular cable may not fit the needles although, admittedly, it's 20+ years old and a newer set might be different. Don't follow advice that makes you think it will work.
There are no problems with the threaded connectors, and these cables are very flexible. It is especially nice to see the end caps Metal inserts make it very difficult for them to come loose from It has happened to me to have the plastic kind come undone. I have used them with all my Knitter's Pride interchangeable needles, but I like them quite a bit There should be a way to distinguish sizes by color, since all the ones I've bought in different sizes so far are the same color. Overall, this was a very good buy.
You are much better off using magic loop instead of 16" cord. You need 9 inches plus the length of the needles, so it is 16 inches plus the length of the needles You can measure any other 16" circular and get the same result. Those are the ones. That's fine. It's possible, I guess. When knitting a hat or anything smaller, my tip is to start small and work your way up It's best to use cords longer than 16 inches since you can either do a magic loop or you can simply stretch the hat. The stitches are difficult to pick up, so you would be better off without them. Although it may be hard to tell from the pictures I've provided, you have to actively move the cord to get it to stretch. You will also have to hold your needles awkwardly when picking up stitches because the needles are so close together. Your project will stretch if you use the needles knit picks provides - they are simply too long for the 16" cord - the ends of the cord and needles are too close together for it to be comfortable. Each cord is five inches long and has a length of nine inches. This method works fine. )
It is easier to just use the magic loop method with longer circulars rather than using these 16" ones.
My mattress was only 37 inches long after I measured it because it seemed a little short. Since I need 40 inches for my project, I will be returning this curtain. If you're thinking of buying this, I recommend you buy one size larger just to be safe. There is no way of knowing if this is a rare manufacturing problem or if all these shoes are.
Despite soaking the cable several times or for prolonged periods of time, the cable came with kinks that are difficult to remove. Additionally, there is a slight scratchiness at the connection between the cable and the connector. The overall overall usability is decent, but not outstanding.
Knit Picks sent me this set as well as the needles I ordered from them, and they are an ideal length! I am learning to knit a cowl for It's now time for me to start! I am very impressed with the packaging and the speed of delivery. It was the best service I have ever received!.
The cable is really stiff. In general, I am not a big fan of the new green ones There was virtually no memory in the original purple ones. Additionally, I had a 16" cable that had a 0 as well. I made the material 25" longer than I should have. Typically I wouldn't care as much but QC has been in a downward spiral for a couple of years now.
There has never been a time when they When I buy them through Amazon, I don't have to place an order of $50, compared to when I order directly from knitpicks. The shipping must be free if the order is over $00. 00. The shipping for return of knit picks is charged as well. The item is great and I'm very pleased with it!.
