I was able to find a size that is appropriate for the afghan I am knitting and a length that feels good. The bamboo needles are my first time working with them instead of aluminum needles. A few times I have noticed that they do not seem as smooth as expected. One time there seems to be a small chip missing from one of them. The yarn was catching on the nail file, so I smoothed it with a nail file. As of yesterday, I noticed that a second spot was forming and I probably need to work on smoothing it out. The needles have barely reached the halfway point of my project, so I wonder if they will endure the journey. This is my first experience with bamboo needles and I will never buy them.
For the past six years, I have been knitting with the Clover Takumi Bamboo Circular Knitting Needles and have many sizes and lengths available. When a review is written for one size, it covers them all. I feel great in my hands and these work very well. A smooth slip will be achieved with the yarn. In long (for example, these 29 inch) cables, the only thing that is irritating is the kinking. The plastic parts are supposed to be soaked in hot water for relaxing, and I plan on doing that after I finish my current project.
Reasonably priced and affordable, I keep buying them whenever I start a new project. Clover makes quality products. This is a company I recommend. My six year old ones still look good. I have had them since 1995. The only problem I encountered was when my puppy chewed on the cable at the connection step, and I had to replace everything since once the cable is detached, you have no option except to replace it.
It felt nice to knit with wooden needles, however, I found that the cord detached from the needle after the third row. There was no tugging of the cord it just fell out of the back of the needle as I knitted. There is no way I'm recommending these, and they will be returned.
My intentions were to knit a baby blanket, and so I bought the Clover Takumi Bamboo Circular 29" Knitting Needles, Size 11. As a self-taught knitter, this baby blanket was my first project with circular needles, as well as my first time knitting with cable It was my first time buying and using circular knitting needles, so I cannot compare this product to anything else, but the Clover Takumi Bamboo Circular 29" Knitting Needles, Size 11 was very good. My circular knitting needles were just what I needed for my baby blanket project. I found them very easy to use, although I was a little intimidated at first by the circular nature. Once I got going, I couldn't stop myself from finishing I blanket. Using these circular knitting needles is easy, as they are easy to handle and maneuver. I did not worry about my stitches falling off the needles since the yarn slid easily up and down the needle. The entire - All in all, the Clover Takumi Bamboo Circular 29" Knitting Needles, Size 11 performed perfectly for me. These were a perfect fit for my project, easy to use, affordable, and accurate in terms of the product description. am very excited about my next project using these needles, and I will definitely look into Clover Takumi Bamboo needles in the future if I need a smaller/larger size.
This is a great book for beginners as well. We are certain you will not.
They are easy to work with and don't cause you to get cold hands in.
In the meantime, I have these as a replacement for my I'm not sure how they were when I was a child. I don't like the way the yarn goes on the bamboo because they are so pointy and sharp. I have to cut my fingers from the point ends after knitting for a few minutes. My sad news is that I need to return.
When I noticed the yarn was snagged on the needle, I had only cast on 64 stitches and had begun my first row. Within just five stitches of the first row of stitches, the needle snapped and broke. As a result, I will no longer purchase products from.
